Couldn't be more helpful.

We stayed for a gig at Heaton park. The girl on check in couldn't be more helpful. I was able to park outside the property. The room was lovely and clean and it was £15 in a Uber to the concert.

The room was not very clean, the bed was like sleeping on wood and the room was about 30 degrees hot so was unbearable. There was a blind covering the window that can’t even go up to let air in. The customer service was poor, contacted them multiple times and done nothing about it.

When we pulled up outside we were a bit confused. Thought it was a guest house as advertised on Expedia? It was actually a house with 4 rooms inside. The front and rear was like a building site. Front and bedroom doors not very secure. No handle on the bathroom door, so couldn't shut it properly for privacy. No tea or coffee facilties, and a dribble of water in the shower. Also someone sleeping in the sofa downstairs. Doors opening and closing all night so we didn't get any sleep. Our bed was sunk in the middle, so when you tried to turn over, you kept falling back into the middle. When I read other people's comments, about how good their stay was, and that the staff were brilliant, and it was very clean, all I can say is that they must have stayed in a different guest house than us, because I found their reviews untrue. It's the worse place I've ever stayed in! I know you get what you pay for, but even with a cheaper rate, you would expect to receive a level that is better than sleeping in a tent. It's opened my eyes in future to make sure that I property look at some of the places available with great care and attention before I book it. One word in a nutshell. Horrendous
