searched for hotel with indoor pool and this hotel came up. surprised to find there was a pool in another hotel that you could walk in below freezing weather to swim in. not as advertised. tried to move but could not since we prepaid. old building tried to upgrade but work was shoddy. would not stay again

So when we booked, we saw that there was an indoor pool. What it does NOT tell you is that the pool is in the main hotel. Not a good idea when it's 30 degrees into to have to walk across a parking lot just to get to the pool and other hotel listed amenities. The site should mention that. Our room had a very small amount of toilet paper and when we called, the front desk was very nice and brought us what we needed. It's a cute hotel but I must say, it wasn't till the morning we realized that the trash can under the sink was never emptied from the last stay and the soap was still in the dish in the shower. So the toilet paper, trash and soap leads me to believe the room really wasn't cleaned from the last guest. Can only hope the sheets were at least changed. Best Western brand, I expected better.

This is my go-to when staying in Lancaster. Staff and accommodations are both amazing. Room is spotless, eds are comfy and breakfast is excellent. Could not ask for friendlier of more helpful staff.

Room was very clean upon arrival. Housekeeping was hit and miss. Beds not made up for entire stay. Trash was emptied. Fresh towels were left. Coffee was replenished. This did occur daily. However, if you follow a checklist, and the guests are not using Decaf coffee, leave some extra Regular coffee. Also, the toilet was plugged at one point, and when I called Front Desk to report it, I was told I could come to the desk for a plunger! Me, you expect me to play Plumber? That being said, breakfast was absolutely outstanding, and was the reason for not giving a lower score.

Room was in fair condition. Something had been sprayed around the room (floor, tables, etc.) maybe a cleaner and not wiped up. You have to walk to the main hotel for the pool and breakfast. Pool was indoor, but cold. Breakfast was decent.

Not friendly

This was our second time at this hotel. The reception isn't friendly, but it's very formal. I need to work, but the internet in my building was terrible. The breakfast is the highlight. Very tasty and complete. I wouldn't stay here again. There are better and cheaper options in the area.

I was very surprised by this hotel bc it wasn’t expensive at all. First….the small refrigerator (not tiny box sized one) and even range top stove, in the room was a wonderful addition. Our room was no frills BUT that’s what I wanted. No carpet, nothing super fancy but very clean and you can’t beat the price. They even had shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the bathtub/shower area. The breakfast.. amazing! That says a lot coming from someone who can’t eat gluten. The staff was so courteous and helpful too. The outdoor pool was closed for the season but the indoor one was open. There is also a hot tub there to use as well. I highly recommend staying here and plan to do so myself.

Family Stay

When we booked a SureStay studio room that would guarantee a mini kitchenette, we didn’t realize it’d be part of the main Best Western hotel on the property but its own totally separate building. We were limited in our driving so while not terribly far from the main lobby, it was an issue for food delivery. The drivers couldn’t tell the difference and kept going to the lobby so we had to walk back and forth to meet them. We wished we stayed in the actual hotel at that point vs the separate studios. The studio building also did not have an elevator, which we did not realize. With an infant, we could not use his stroller so had to make several trips to the second floor. The room was spacious and had a kitchenette for us to wash bottles. However, during our stay, we had a couple of flies or gnats that kept appearing by the bathroom. The room was relatively clean otherwise. The beds were a little soft for our liking and kept shifting off the boxspring but were otherwise clean. We would stay again but this time, would stay in the main hotel.
