The location was great--it's a short drive to Woodstock downtown but away from the bustle and the traffic. The Inn is by the river so the view is fantastic. Overall the Inn had a very relaxing vibe which we really enjoyed. Our room seemed to be newly renovated. It was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was simple but delicious. We'll definitely stay there again!

It was a charming little place, but the stay was very expensive for the amenities available. The continental breakfast was good. I did not like that the doorframe to our room was broken and there is a big gap so anyone can see into the room. It would have been nice to have a TV since everything shuts down early in this sleepy little town.

The Lincoln Inn sits on a beautiful property, and even though we could take advantage of the firepit due to a ban on fires in the area, we enjoyed sitting on the Adirondack chairs in the early evening. The room was clean and tastefully decorated. Wished we could have had a TV although we didn’t mind too much. The amenities in the room, however, was sparse. Breakfast was a simple continental breakfast, and the coffee was delicious. All in all, a decent place to stay.

Freshly made breakfast with assortment of breads and scrambled eggs. Multiple breakfast beverages too. It's a beautiful, historic inn setting, within 75 yards of a covered bridge.

We loved that the owner shared her daughter's paintings and history of the Inn. They are making the Inn beautiful as they only took it over in Feb. Of this year. Great breakfast with great coffee and herbal teas. Great job Luke!!

Lovely Inn With Very Kind Hosts

I had a Classic Single room at the top of the stairs and it was lovely. Sheets were soft, the comforter was fluffy and down and everything was very clean. Bring your own pillow if you like them soft and squishy. Family is there on site, which is nice if you are traveling alone. Inn is not quite as pictured in the photos but it sits on the river and it's wonderful to walk down to it with your coffee in the morning. It's on a busy road (most every inn is, in this area) but it quiets down entirely, during sleeping hours. Their bread at breakfast is amazing and the management couldn't be nicer. I would absolutely recommend this place as it's a great value and very nice experience. I would definitely stay here again.

Loved our stay at the Lincoln Inn. Great location, beautiful views, friendly family owned staff, delicious breakfast. Although watch your head in the bathroom. Even with the sign posted on the wall my girlfriend and I both managed to bump our heads on the low ceiling using the restroom. Definitely worth the stay though!

We enjoyed our stay. The inn is in an old historic building but the interior is clean and filled with nice touches. We stayed one night, and were in the smallest room. The bed was fine. The room was quiet! The breakfast was thoughtfully presented. Good coffee. Great bread. We enjoyed the outside patio and lawn that leads down to the Ottauquechee River. We also enjoyed the artwork in the gallery. The best part of the inn is the owner and staff. They are attentive and eager to please.

The owner was very attentive and helpful with all of our requests. He was truly thankful for us staying at the Inn. The Inn was nicely decorated and full of history which was shared throughout. The outside area was inviting with different seating options from couches to tables and chairs to Adirondack chairs under a tree and by the river. There was also a 2 seater swing. This is a historical building and we had to walk up about a dozen steps to our room, which may pose a problem for some. We will definitely be staying here again! I would highly recommend Lincoln Inn!
