A convenient stop when travelling. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean. The building is old as is plumbing. The hot water was boiling in the evening and cool in the morning. Probably because everyone wanted a shower at the same time. The WiFi was slow and kept dropping. Usual shops are attached to the building. Costa, McDonalds, WHSmiths etc and M&S in the garage.

Very last minute booking. Check in was quick and easy with friendly staff. Room (lake side view) was spacious, clean and comfortable. Free WiFi was a total bonus. It was nice to watch the sun rise from the wee balcony overlooking the lake. It's a basic hotel but really nice with wee touches that just make it so much better than a Travelodge
