We stayed here for the Thanksgiving holiday. We never ate anything but took advantage of the “Grab and Go” coffee station. Also, we used the INCREDIBLE, EPIC gym!!

The staff was couteous but I was very disappointed with the overall condition of the hotel. The public spaces were in good shape and updated and the fitness center was great. But the rest of the place is badly in need of some paint and an overall refresh. The elevator trim was rusty and the carpets were dingy. The guest rooms are at best adequate and have zero amenities, such as a coffee maker.

Amazing stay at this well run newly minted Hotel - it's got great space to wander on the grounds, I would like to come again. The staff was super helpful and made our stay even more special.

We were swindled!

It looks nice, the building looks great from the outside, and the grounds are gorgeous. But no coffee maker, no fridge, no microwave, and the smallest tv that looked like a computer monitor hooked up to a cable box is all the room has to offer. Not to mention the parking lot is about a 5 minute hike uphill to the lobby. If they are hosting an event, good luck finding a spot. With the cost of staying here, we felt a bit bamboozled

Overall I think they have a good thing here, they just need competent people to steer it in the right direction. Pros: -The grounds are beautiful and well kept -Rooms and common areas were clean/spacious -Quiet location, but still close to attractions Cons: -Staff is uninformed and ill prepared to deal with issues that arise -It's a conference and event space (weddings, bachelor parties, birthdays) The event areas are surrounded by the guest rooms. The music was extremely loud in the common areas and the guests of the event were disruptive when leaving late at night. -The hosting of events there leaves little to no parking close to the hotel for any individual guests. Had to park a quarter of a mile away and walk in the dark. There's no available parking near the doors closet to your room because there's no key card access at any door. You can only use the front entrance. -Limited food options as the cafe, dining room and bar on site are only open on certain days for a few hours. -Employees, specifically reception, don't know a lot of information or chose to share it.

Stay at a holiday inn express - or a motel - basically the same or better than what you get here. Room has no refrigerator, Microwave, or coffee. Needs more outlets / usb ports. TV is tiny and bed is super hard. Very noisy with slamming doors. Expect the restaurant, fire pits etc you are there for to be closed for private events. Front desk Staff was not helpful or informative.

No amenities in room such as coffee or water - no parking one night due to a wedding - hotel guests should have priority or hotel should provide shuttle service if parking not available near property. Bathroom door wouldn’t close because it was broken - tv was dated. Staff were annoyed when I complained.

There was a line 20 deep at checkin. Check in is 4 and they pretty much hold to it. The rooms are spartan1 easy chair no refrigerator. Facility is beautiful in a beautiful setting. Only one wash cloth for two people. I think they are still trying to get their act together

A former corporate conference center, the grounds are stunning, the room clean. I did feel I was staying in a dormitory. The restaurant was not open as there were events going on the days I was there. Staff was nice but I feel were new and misinformed us as to where our room was located, whether the cafe or restaurant was open or not. Very few amenities were available. The parking lot is located a fair distance from the lodging area, I would recommend valet parking but there is none. Kitchenette was closed so could not be used. Coffee bar was one Kuerig, there was a line often to use it. It is situated on a beaufully landscaped property and the grounds are stunning. I believe Windrose needs to increase its staff and have its cafe and restaurant open for guests. I do not think I would stay here again.
