Breakfast is not worth the extra charge and when trying to order dinner in hotel staff told us not to bother as “it’s not that great”, most was cold and if not cold tasted bad. Staff were very friendly but when making a complaint didn’t show interest. Myself and my partner stayed in room 19. Avoid staying in it. There was a door right outside in the hall that slammed and vibrated the wall every time someone passed. Woke myself and my partner up several times. When made a complaint to receptionist their attitude was very disinterested. The whole hotel is needing some form of work done to it from painting over water stains on roof to changing very old stale smelling carpets. The room itself was lovely and no complaints there. Unfortunately the hot tub was out of order during our stay but none the less the pool and sauna was brilliant although it was apparent that the changing rooms weren’t cleaned for at least the 2days we were there. Same towels left on floor, plaster, basket for towels not emptied, lockers with rubbish in them. Not great look makes a person wonder how clean the pool itself is. Overall the stay was not the worst but not the best.
