Worst hotel..full of mold!!!

Not only that the people were rude but the place is full of mold I have to be out most of the day because I was afraid to get sick. The advertised Smart TV in Wi-Fi we never got five when we went to the receptionist they did not accommodate us at all. Wedding Felix arguing so we left it like that not TV no Wi-Fi. The only good thing about that hotel was the servers at the restaurant..

Where do I begin? Hotels.com.and hotel Messener both need investigated. Lets start with the hotel. What you see is not advertised. Believe me. Mould, damp, electrical switches broken and exposed, broken furniture and bed bugs plus much more. I checked in and 20 minutes later right back out. I suffer from respiratory health issues. Hotel messner and hotels.com would have been paying my medical expenses should i have stayed. But dont worry! Hotel messner and hotels.com re booked my Room and BOTH REFUSE to give me my money back, oh and tried to say the hotel don't speak English. Dont worry I have a video they do! Check my pics, since hotel.com say I'm lying. Local polizia has closed this place down on more than 1 occasion due to not being fit for purpose

Minha experiência no Hotel Messner foi muito abaixo do esperado, e os problemas começaram já no check-in. Fomos colocados inicialmente em um quarto que não correspondia ao anúncio: cama de solteiro em vez de cama de casal e ainda com restos (lixo) deixados pelos ocupantes anteriores. Após muita reclamação, fomos realocados para outro quarto, que embora aparentasse limpo e tivesse cama de casal, apresentou outros problemas: água quente não funcionava, não havia controle do ar-condicionado (tínhamos que descer para pedir alteração da temperatura) e havia cheiro de mofo no ambiente. Além disso, a experiência no restaurante foi frustrante: no primeiro dia, cobraram uma taxa e não aplicaram o desconto de 20% prometido aos hóspedes, e o garçom foi rude. No segundo dia, não permitiram que consumíssemos um resto de vinho que levamos do quarto, mesmo sendo hóspedes do hotel. Tentei contato via site onde fiz a reserva para esclarecer dúvidas, mas não obtive resposta. O preço pago não condiz com a qualidade oferecida. Resumindo: Veneza é linda, mas este hotel definitivamente não é digno da cidade. Não pretendo voltar e não recomendo.

disrespectful Owner 👎, great workers 🥰✨♥️

if i would go back in that hotel it’s just because of people that worked there, they were amazing kind and very friendly, we had so much fun together, but what i didn’t like was the old lady there she was the owner she was very rude 👎 she has no respect for the costumers especially with small kids like us , also she disturbed the personal workers when they were friendly , Food very delicious Edward & Daniela and the women with blonde hair 5 stars to them 😍😍♥️♥️♥️✨✨✨

Canal view, walkable!

The room was quite large and accommodated all of the people in my party perfectly. There was an issue with the air conditioner and it did not stay on. It had to be constantly turned on every few hours or it would get very hot. We were on the first floor which was nice and quick to get out. We also faced the canal which was really cool. The room was a bit damp but it is an old building near water. It was easy to get around getting to the main bridge over the grand canal (about 10 minutes) or a water taxi about 10 minutes start to finish to St. Mark's Square. There is also the water ferries about five minute walk to go to further places in Venice. Great coffee shop about 3 minute walk away.

Good stay !

The location is amazing , you literally staying in the core of Venice , my complain is the a/c for the size of the room it does not blow enough air to keep room fresh you would have to open windows and the bad side of that is that mosquitoes will enter your room and you know the rest , bed was a bit to hard for my liking but you may find comfortable, and WiFi is not good on the room I was at at all , besides that I totally recommended.

pti dejeuner et climatisation nuls

jai reservé un hotel avec petit dejeuner inclus et climatisation. une fois sur place on me dit que la cliatisation est gérée par la reception et s'active uniquement si la T° ets au dela de 28° De plus jai reservé avec petit dejeuner inclus . mais une fois sur place on me dit que le pti dejeuner n'est pas inclus. il faut payer sur place on me dit de payer le pti dejuener à part. on me fait payer € pour la fille de ans qui ne menage presque rien ce plus le pti dejeuner est vide de sens et rien d'important. juste des choses de bon marché

Mould

We got let in to our room 1 h early so that was nice. However the room was so hot and the ac was sentrale controll so not working good. In the bathroom it was alot of black mould on the wals , sink, doorframe and mirror. Gives the feeling of hard to breathe in the room and it smells like moist, we asked to change room but it was fully booked, try to look for another hotel but didn't manage. We got fresh towels on the bed for a new day so that was nice.

El hotel es sucio, huele asqueroso, los cuartos huelen a mucha humedad, no te dejan bajar el aire acondicionado a menos de 25 grados, las camas con pequeñas casi a raz del suelo, el baño es pequeño lleno de moho muy incómodo, no sé cómo Hoteles.com lo tiene en la plataforma! Para nada es un 3 estrellas superior! No debería ser clasificado ni como hostal!

Don’t do it!

Horrible Hotel. Beware! After a horrible check-in we were directed to our “quad room with a double and two twin beds” overlooking the canal. When we arrived we noticed we were given a double bed with only a futon. The front desk agents were grumpy and unkind. They didn’t want to help at all. Alas I slept on a single futon with an 8 year old WILDLY UNCOMFORTABLE. The hotel itself is falling apart. Our door frame was held together with a strip of plastic that we could literally open the locked door with a good pull, definitely didn’t feel safe. The air conditioning is not controllable because they have taken the remotes, leaving you with whatever settings they see fit (ours was set at 23 degrees). Finally walking up the stairs there is wallpaper peeling off showing mold behind it. Save yourself a headache on your Venice adventure and do not book this hotel.

I was very disappointed when i got to the hotel the pictures on line are nothing like the room the have us or was disgusting. The rug and corners were moldy the toilet seat was broken. I did not stay there i went to another hotel.

BEWARE!

BEWARE!! Completely unacceptable. Sent two emails got zero responses. False advertising at its best. AC a complete joke, hose hanging out an open window, outlets that don’t work,toilets that don’t flush so disappointing.

Not up to 3-star standards

The location was decent, and the young lady at the reception was helpful during check-in. However, there were several major issues. No remote control was provided for the air conditioning, so there was no way to adjust the temperature independently. The Wi-Fi didn’t work at all throughout the stay. Despite repeated requests, it was never fixed. The staff kept saying a technician would be contacted, but nothing was done. One male staff member at reception was especially rude and dismissive, simply saying, “Ask your travel agency, sorry,” instead of offering any real help. The place didn’t feel like a proper 3-star hotel—more like rented rooms in an old house. Even the stairway lighting wasn’t working, which made it feel unsafe and poorly maintained.

Good Location in central venice, however after reading all the recent reports of bed bugs it did bring paranoia. Our air con was dripping some unknown liquid onto the bedframe directly below, room had a musty smell & carpet looked worn with yellow tints on the edge of the red. Despite this, I would recommend keeping bags off the floor and hanging clothes up, thankfully didnt get bitten though but the fear of bed bugs was enough to make me unsettled for the duration of the trip despite being there for such a short amount of time. The hotel itself does clean sheets every day and I did notice that the bed itself is not placed against any walls, with at least a 15 cm gap, suggesting the property are aware of said infestation and are perhaps taking some measures of prevention. There were 4 of us in total but none of us appeared to get bitten. Door lock also didnt work properly.

Not the cleanest hotel. Bathroom very dirty, lots of ants and insects crawling around. Had to wear shoes indoors the whole time. Bed was uncomfortable, ac stayed at one temp so it got very cold at night. Shower was very dirty, drain didn’t work well.
