Beautiful cabins on the river

Amazing. New updates in cabins. Cozy. Kayaking was great. Pool and whirlpool was so relaxing and fun. I will be returning back soon.

Lost Arrow is a Hidden Gem

We absolutely love this place. It is a hidden gem and we wish we had known about it decades earlier. We could not get over how beautiful this property is, how millions of stars light up the sky at night, how the Tittabawassee River looks like a mirror. The rooms are comfortable, beautifully Designed and very, very clean. The staff was wonderful and the food in the restaurant was terrific. This is a perfect place for a family vacation, with lots of fun things to do outdoors. It also would be a great place to go to just get away from it all. I highly recommend this place and I cannot wait to come back.

Full disclosure would have helped

Using the hotel app I reserved a suite because there was two beds needed. What I got was a go back to the 70s honeymoon suite with a jacuzzi tub enclosed in a window glass the was literally in the middle of the room next to the bed. The toilet was separate. There was an old sofa that I assume was a pull out. This was NOT the picture I saw on the app when I reserved it. After much discussion we were re-accommodated in a tiny to bed mini room. Very rustic with only a small fridge and a table. The bathroom had a barn style sliding door that was literally next to the beds. The food at the restaurant was better than average for nice places in the city. Smoked prime rib is a winner. We had to ask for everything that the offered, bbq for cooking, wood for the fire pit and they sold ice by the bag. None available just for guests.

Went to eat at restaurant. Everything we ordered wasnr available. The lady who spik6e with us about the inconveniences was very nice tho. We saw on the website there were atvs to rent. We inquired about these at check in desk, also if we were allowed to light firewirjs off. The lady responded with "im not sure, nobody's ever asked let me find out and call you. I never got that call. I never was instructed on check out instructions. When i went to leave the office was closed i just left keys in room, unable to lock door when leaving, which i felt was unsafe. Overall not happy with this stay and i would nor recommend to anyone.

Very quiet, peaceful and beautiful area. The few staff that were there were very friendly. Would definitely stay here again for a night of quiet and solitude, but would bring a few thing with me for more comfort. A few things that was missing though. I paid for cabin with gas fireplace and it didn't work and no one was on property to deal with it. There was no blankets other than thin bedspread which meant I had to turn up the heat and would have rather had a real blanket. And there was no real garbage can other than a very tiny one in bathroom. If you need utensils or anything like that you have to get it from the restaurant before it closes.

Water pressure and hot water were lacking. Tub in the cabin would take 2 hours to fill. Not enough hot water. Misleading. The hot tub in the pool house wasn’t working. The grounds were not kept up. Outside fire pit has dirty bird poop covered chairs and trash in the fire pit. Weeds abundant.

We had no hot water at all and could not shower all weekend. The sheets had stains on them and the room had a smell to it so we had to keep the windows open for air. We tried to call the number given to us if we needed anything after hrs but we had no service so we could nit make any calls. During the day when it was open we had to leave for softball tournament and by the time we got back to try to speak to someone abiut the lack of hot water no one was there. The restaurant on site also had nothing on the menue we wanted (apparently they just ooened the week before and were still getting food delivered) but we ended up having to ask what do yiu have that we can order.

We stayed there Saturday night because we were in the area for softball tournament. We didn’t get a lot of time to spend at the cabin, but it was super clean! What a hidden gem for a place to stay. Definitely would stay there again!
