Staff was awesome. There are no amenities like food, drinks or breakfast like they advertise as part of their campus. The hotel is overrated for what they charge.

Room was spotless and staff was incredibly friendly. The only downside was the low water pressure in the shower. Overall it was a pleasant stay!

Clean and nice hotel with friendly staff in the heart of Koreatown. Great restaurants and metro stations to connect to other parts of LA are within close walking distance. Would stay again.

Welcoming hotel - new and clean. Good location for us. Only negative was low water pressure and a sliding shower door that would not stay shut.

Staff good. Parking convenient and safe though pretty expensive but then again, it is LA. I would rank hotel as $150 per night being a value. Not worth $200+ per night. No bar, no food at hotel. Gym is very limited. Positive is that it’s within walking distance to some businesses in K town.

Hotel is brand new so everything is in great condition. It is situated in a busy street with lots of dining options from morning to late evening. Stayed here for a girl’s trip and during our stay, we felt safe walking in/out of the hotel.

Soft opening during my stays. Valet parking is available. In-house restaurant and bar are still under renovations. Staffs are nice and helpful. Its location is surrounded by many restaurants, cafes and supermarkets.

8/10 Very good

Room cleanliness was great, location was superb, and staff were nice. James at front desk was really helpful. However, for a newly renovated hotel a lot of the amenities didn’t make sense - shower pressure was extremely weak, only one chair in the room with no couches, and couldn’t turn off the bedside lights without walking to the wall to do so. It would also be helpful to have more storage space in the restroom for toiletries and have a communal microwave. The rooms are also smaller than what the photos looked like.

The staff was really kind and helpful. We stayed a week into them being opening. Beautiful property. I got a picture of the outside & the bathroom but unfortunately didnt get one of the room itself. The room was spacious and the bathroom was nice. The area around is not the best but there are so many food options as well as shopping. They have valet parking for $45 a night. I would stay here again.

Great, new hotel! Enjoyed everything except for the shower. Water pressure was so bad you couldn't enjoy the bath.

Nice, Comfy Hotel in The Heart of Ktwon

We had our stay during their soft opening, and although the hotel is new, it is off to a great start. The location is great as it is in the heart of ktown and walking distance to food, drinks, coffee, and even H Mart! We stayed in a junior suite which was more than enough space for a party of 3. The beds were comfy, room was clean, and came with a fridge and sink. Staff was super friendly and welcoming as well. I think the bar/lounge area was still under construction, but that leaves a good reason for us to stay again. Overall, I would highly recommend this place

8/10 Very good

Since it is a newly opened property, the rooms were very clean and well maintained. The front desk staff were friendly, and the parking staff were also extremely kind and helpful. However, in terms of facilities, there was not much to highlight besides the gym. The location is right in the middle of Koreatown, which made it very convenient to walk to many restaurants within 10–20 minutes. On the downside, it was quite noisy late into the night due to the busy neighborhood. Overall, it is a clean and convenient option if you plan to spend most of your time outside exploring, but do not expect many on-site amenities beyond the basics.

6/10 Good

Hotel is new so everything was in good condition. Service was good. The biggest pain point was the shower. The pressure was so low that you could only wash 1 small body part (the size of your hand maybe) at a time. The bed was ok, not the most comfortable. Pillows were over stuffed and they kept slipping from under our heads.

Amazing Hotel

Wonderful stay!! We just stayed at the brand new Kins Hotel in Koreatown LA. I was in town for an event and my parents tagged along for the ride. First the positives...the hotel was beautiful! All the staff we encountered from front desk to cleaning and maintenance were all very nice. Rooms were surprisingly spacious! I've stayed at other hotels in the area and this was the most spacious. The beds were comfortable and we were able to get a great nights rest. My parents loved walking in the area, they felt safe and lots of places to eat and grab a coffee or pastry nearby. Now, they are a new hotel... if you expect things to run smoothly, i would suggest waiting until all the kinks are worked out. We are very chill so we didnt mind as long as we were treated kindly. They only offer valet parking which is $45 per night. But we didnt mind because it was very convenient and staff was so helpful. 10/10 would stay here again!

It’s a brand new hotel. This was part of the allure to try it out for my week long business trip. It’s clean, new and conveniently located to many great food options. It will be great for visitor staying a night or two. However, for me here on business it lacked. The room, while new, wasn’t the best laid out. No switch near the bed to turn off lights. So you need to turn off lights across the room and walk in then darkness to your bed. TV wasn’t smart, and stopped working after day 3. No laundry services, no iron or ironing board and NO microwave in the entire facility. No consistency with room cleaning either. I asked one day to have my room clean, but came back at 5PM to nothing done. Overall, not a place for my business trips and will be heading back to Normandie down the street in my trip in two weeks.

My stay

Front desk - I called to see if my room was ready. They said yes. When I got there I had to pay $40 for an early check in fee. I checked in- the front desk didn’t speak English well so my questions were not answered. She just looked at me and continued to check me in. After check in while I was unloading my car she asked if I had a car and I had to pay $45/night for valet. I didn’t mind paying but she didn’t bother to ask me if I had a vehicle before finish checking me in. So she had to charge my card again. There is someone to help with bags so that was nice. Room - the room was small (literally a corner) I knew this already but it’s not big enough for a small family. The shower was dirty. There was loose hair everywhere. No microwave but there was a refrigerator. Not enough towels. You have to use your keycard for the electricity. It’s okay but if you want to come back to a cool room you have to leave a keycard. The walls are very thin. The room had plenty outlets. Parking - valet. Employees were nice and very helpful.
ashley, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

This is a brand-new hotel that just opened in early September, so it’s understandable that they’re still finding their rhythm. The staff is very attentive, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. My main drawback was that the TV wasn’t a smart TV — it only had local channels, which felt a bit outdated. I also experienced a slight language barrier with some of the front desk staff, which makes sense since the hotel is in Koreatown. Upon check-in, I didn’t have hand soap in my room. When I went downstairs to ask for some, the staff seemed puzzled and gave me the impression that I was asking for extra rather than missing an item. I later realized they charge for certain toiletries, which explained their confusion — but it could have been communicated more clearly. The next day, I ran out of body wash (it hadn’t been filled completely), and when I asked for more, they told me that the hand soap and body soap were the same product. They were correct — I looked up the brand — but the way it was explained came off a bit curt, especially since the room should’ve been stocked properly to begin with. Valet parking is $45 per night, which I personally think is excessive for such a small lot. There’s plenty of nearby street and garage parking, and we were able to avoid paying for three nights, saving over $100 — so definitely explore other options before paying for valet. Overall, it’s a clean, modern hotel with good service, but they’re still ironing out some details.
