My sister and I loved how accommodating the staff were and the convenient location. Booking early helped us get good rates per night. We had to switch rooms a couple of times because of cleanliness reasons, but the manager and staff were really understanding about it.

The hotel location is excellent; right next to the Basilica. The staff is very friendly and rooms are spacious, clean and modern. The room was quiet and bed was comfortable. There are several breakfast, lunch and dinner options around the hotel. I highly recommend Bestia and Retek for quality Hungarian food.

One minor criticism is the room roof where the windows are is not straight and adding curtains is not the best idea, making the space less convenient to more around the bed. Maybe shades sliding with yhe window would be a better option.

This has been my FAVORITE hotel during my whole Europe trip to 4 countries, it hit ALL of my expectations: Location: You cannot beat the location, you’re literally only STEPS to St. Stephen’s Basilica, where the big Christmas market is. It was so nice to grab food from the stalls and take it in my room to relax while watching Netflix on their tv. It was so close to everything else also - shopping (Fashion Street), the riverfront, the bridge, and the walk to Fisherman’s Bastion and Buda Castle were even so easy with so many shops and sightseeing on the way. Staff: This hotel had the absolute NICEST staff I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet in literally all the hotels I’ve stayed at in Europe (I’ve stayed at 15 hotels in Europe so far). I wanted to give recognition to Anita, Anita great customer service help with train, Gergö, and Zsombor who helped me book my train to Vienna. Gergö and Zsombor literally booked my ticket for me!! They even were so considerate of the little things, for instance, I was wearing a lot of layers and started getting warm. Gergö noticed this and opened the door for me so the breeze can come in! The morning before, I had a question about makeup stores, and Zsombor kindly offered recommendations. These 2 gentlemen were extremely kind and helpful; their kindness will forever be remembered and associated with my trip to Budapest. Amenities: This place felt so luxurious (the heated towels were PERFECT) and price was worth it. 10/10 would stay again.
