Not planning to use Hotels.com again
This accommodation had some advantages, but also some disadvantages. Compared to nearby hotels, this alternative was somewhat less expensive; it offered excellent public transit connections, was quite spacious with high ceilings and two bedrooms, and was situated on a fairly quiet street. Unfortunately, the appartement appeared to be in need of some significant repairs, the grout between the bathtub tiles was badly discolored, bordering on gross, one of the kitchen plugins was pushed into the wall a couple of inches and probably a fire hazard, and we were visited by a unusually high number of floor dwelling insects during our stay. When we booked, we were provided an incorrect address, and when we arrived we discovered that we had been provided the incorrect code for the key lock-box. This problem was amplified when we waited for over an hour for a response from our host during which we were forced to beg at a neighboring dental clinic for use of their washroom.
