It was a lovely stay! Close to road so can hear cars. Showers were a challenge to use, but we made do :)

Easy to check in, setup just as the picture show. Staff was friendly. The town of tropic had all the food and amenities you would need. Great for a short camping trip when you don’t want to pack up everything

This is a great place to stay, if you are looking for a comfortable outdoor camping experience. The view is amazing at this place, and great hiking close by. I would recommend this place!

Wonderful!

There were a lot of mixed reviews that made me uncertain what to expect, but thankfully we were super pleased with our stay! The coordinates are a bit off but if you follow the instructions and look out for the tipis along the road, it's fairly easy to find. The tents were clean, nicely furnished and the bed was insanely comfortable. We were warm and cozy despite cold temperatures over night. The restrooms (camping style toilets) were clean and while i didn't have a shower the water pressure seemed good and water was hot. There are no power outlets in the tent, and a solar lantern is provided for lighting. For the price I think this was great value - it's exactly what i would have expected, camping with added comfort.

Fantastic Experience with Great Staff

Fantastic experience. Setting was amazing. The beds were very comfortable. The teenagers loved the tent and the campground area. Their only complaint was the lack of cell service. We expected that considering the area. Bathrooms were very clean. My daughter left her headphones and the notified us within 20 minutes of leaving so we were able to go back for them even though they offered to ship them if we had left the area.

This is a very different experience than a typical hotel and super fun! The stars are amazing at night. Showers and bathrooms were clean and really nice to have. Be sure to bring your own potable water, wood, towels, toilettes. Comfortable and clean camping experience.

This was an adventure! The bed was incredibly comfortable! Such a treat! The tents looked just like the pictures. I would have wanted to know that even though I booked a tent for 4 people, we still only got a twin and king, and there was no electricity to plug in an air mattress. The bathrooms were wonderful for community style. Overall we really enjoyed our stay there.

Great atmosphere but the showers were limited and had to wait in line. Also the pillows were not comfortable. They were too tall and hard

Rough camping with no power of amenities

Not glamping, straight up camping with no amenities.....no power, dirty porta potties, rough trails and parking can be far from tent leaving a long way to haul luggage, property appears to have been thrown together on a whim without much thought, very few picnic tables anf unlevel ground....the beds were comfortable but overall the property was extremely lacking!! Even the road in needs maintenance

2/10 Poor

Hate being in this property. No basic amenities at all such as AC/heater, charging points, lights, dustbins, towels. Bathroom experience was horrible… need to hold chain to keep water coming which also stops after 5 seconds and water was extremely hot… there’s no way to access to normal/cold water. Never ever stay here.

These were perfect accomodations. The bed was so comfy and for $25 more than a camp spot, so worth it. Bathrooms were skeaky clean and the hosts who live onsite and their dogs are friendly. Plenty of picnic tables and BBQ to use if you have coal. Little to no shade so in the heat of summer most folks showed up after 5:00. The nearby Mossy Creek Ttrail has a waterfall we sat under to cool off and read our books in the shade in the park until cool enough to go back to our little oasis at Wandercamp. The bed is a king and oooh so copzy. Bathrooms clean with nice showers. There is no potable water onsite but the town of tropic down the way has all you need.

The tante was actually very nice and bed very confortable but the conditions of the outside were terrible. Make sure to bring boot because in case it’s raining all the ground were full of mud and impossible to access the tante . This is not a place to bring children’s or if you are use to some confort .

8/10 Very good

We stayed one night. While the beds didn't look like the ones in the picture, they were very comfortable and kept us warm during the night. The facility has all the amenities needed for camping, however, other than the bathrooms, they were hard to find due to lack of signage. An easy fix! The tent was easy to find and the view was great. For those that don't understand glamping, don't expect electricity or cell service. This is the time to really disconnect. First time "glamping" and would definitely do it again!

What seems to be a group of homeless people living in trailers 50ft from the tents. Bed was dirty and we ended up not even staying the night there. Food was advertised but there was nothing there. Don’t waste your time or your money

I still give it a five Star for the experience as my first time to book this type of accommodation. Although they may make some updates to zippers of tents, and consider onsite staff for security and questions or concerns. We were confident to stay that night since we knew there was staff staying onsite that night and lots of other people staying as well. On side note if if I was just two girls and no one else onsite, we would have chosen the lather plan. Overall there was running and clean toilets and showers. The only thing the water for the shower can get to hot because of the self serving water system that can’t be adjusted like a hotel shower. Understandable.

this is really a very cool experience! The tents are very nice/sturdy. The king size bed, pillows and linens super comfy--better than alot of hotels! The layout of the tents allow for privacy; there are plenty of pits for fire-bring your own wood. There are no onsite amenities for food, wood, etc....bring everything in...but leave food in your car! there are restrooms/showers that are very clean and nice. I can't wait to go back, honestly! the only change would be to have a view from inside the tent to see the stars at night while sleeping! Not sure that can be done without a dome...but that would make this perfect!

Make sure you get info about your reservation before you go. Poorly marked entrance from the road, but obvious from the teepees. No cell service. Found some helpful ladies who gave us a number to call when they arrived the day before and no host there to get them info. So didn’t know which tent was ours! Bed was super comfy and toasty in the wind storm. But lots of noise from flapping tent all night. Nice tables and chairs in tent. Long walk to bathroom trailer on an uneven dirt path. No towels provided, so BYOT! Cool idea. If it wasn’t 36° to walk out to potty at night it would be better. Property is off to a good start , still needs some improvements. And a host to welcome us and explain things like how to get the hot water to work for the shower and how to flush the toilet.
Middle of night in full moon. That was neat.

Disappointing Stay

The concept of glamping here is great, but our experience had several issues that made the stay less enjoyable. The tent’s zipper was in poor condition and made loud, frequent noises throughout the night—it often sounded like someone was unzipping the tent, which made it hard to get a restful sleep. While I understand glamping isn’t meant to be pristine, the bathrooms were not very clean and had a persistent odor. Water pressure in the showers was extremely low—just a trickle—and pretty much stopped altogether if the second shower was being used. Before our arrival, we received a message informing us that no host would be on-site during our stay. This was surprising given that the campsite appeared to be fully booked. With limited cell service in the area, there was no reliable way to ask questions or address any issues that came up, which added to the frustration. To make matters worse, other guests did not follow quiet hours, and we had headlamps flashing into our tent late into the night, waking our kids multiple times. The lack of staff oversight meant there was no one to help manage these disruptions. With better maintenance, a stronger presence from staff (or at least a way to communicate reliably), and some enforcement of quiet hours, this could be a much more enjoyable experience. I wouldn’t recommend it for families.

8/10 Very good

I've always wanted to stay in a safari tent, and this did not disappoint. The tent was awesome. The beds, pillows, and linens were very comfortable. It was warm enough in late June. The bathroom complex was good enough. Running water in the sinks, eco flush toilets, and showers that run either cold or hot depending on how long you choose to pull the chain. No electricity in the tents. Our solar lantern did not work the first night we were there, but we were able to get a replacement that did work the second night by texting the company. That was the only downside for me. I did have a headlamp that I had thrown in my bag at the last minute, so the first night was OK anyways. I also had a power bank with a solar panel that I had brought along to charge my phone and cameras during the stay at the property, so that worked out fine. Very close to Bryce Canyon and the town of Tropic where we enjoyed breakfast at the Rustler's Restaurant. Beautiful skies for stargazing at night, and the view of the surrounding mountains at sunrise and sunset is stunning. I would stay here again as is, but would also recommend the property continue to upgrade. Check out the Wildflower Zion resort in Virgin, UT. Apparently they started with just tents in 2020, and now have expanded significantly with even a pool and snackbar/coffee shop by 2025. But even if this place chooses to stay smaller and more rustic, it is still a good place to stay.
