Location of room

We arrived a little after 8pm and were given the room 118. We were woken up by the preparations for the breakfast, also the noise was very loud while people were getting their breakfast. Not a restful evening.

Good Sleep & Value

Single Queen Bed Room - small but everything you need: bed, bathroom, mini fridge, microwave, TV, desk, AC. The room and bathroom were clean. It was quiet to sleep, no loud road noises. A good value if going to the Lake Michigan Beaches or outlet shopping. Staff were friendly. Breakfast service lacked variety or supplies. Out of coffee creamer. Next door is a gas station and Walmart. If you are particular about breakfast eat out or bring your own.

Less than mediocre

The room wasn’t the cleanest, dirt in the corners in the bathroom and something spilled down the outside of the tub. The bed was very uncomfortable and very few pillows. Was there just one night thankfully. Staff not rude but not friendly either.

Ok for the price

First the good: The room was pretty nice and it was clean. The beds were comfortable, and breakfast had quite a few options, including hot food. The bad: The bathroom door had a broken handle and would not stay shut. Also the thermostat didnt work so we woke up every few hours either freezing or sweating, and had to manually turn it up ir down.

Workers were fabulous! They are why we will be back. However, the room could use some help. Carpet was ripped up in a few spots. Hair in the shower in several spots. And of all things the Jacuzzi tub in our room wouldn't hold water so we didn't get to use it. Convienant location, decent bfast of waffles eggs and sausage. Walmart is across the street.

Little disappointing

The beds where comfortable, the staff was amazing, the breakfast was limited items and just ok. The room was very outdated and our carpet had rips on the end and didn't look like it was ao clean. We stayed 3 nights. When we came back from being our in 2nd afternoon it had been cleaned. Didn't realize they were going to clean it. Did a good job and changed all our sheets and left fresh towels and refreshed everthing. As for the pool it was very small and very loud. It also needed to be checked iib think it needed more clorine. All and all it was just ok. The employees were amazing and helpful to all our needs

Not great!

Needs updating. Overall, bathroom was clean except for a small ball of hair on a hand towel. Odd marks on the sheet but they seemed clean. A cockroach by the drinking fountain. The lemon water had a lot of residue at the bottom as if it does not get fully cleaned out each day. Probably won't stay here again though the price beat most others

Nice rooms, friendly staff,

Our room was kind of small but we made do. The most annoying part was every time we left our room for the day our key card wouldn’t work when we returned and we had to keep going to the front desk to get it reset. This got really annoying after about the third time it happened because usually we had our hands full of stuff and had to leave it in the hallway to go get our key reset.

Gross, completely unprofessional and unclean

I wish I had went with my instinct and paid the extra money to stay at the location we last stayed at when visiting this area. The staff was overall friendly and helpful but they cannot provide excellent service without support. The hotel was not adequately stocked with any items a guest would expect like coffee creamer and forks. Everything you needed was “waiting on a truck”. Yet everything’s was Sam’s brand. Seems like they knew it was a busy weekend for the event there, and they didn’t want to buy extra supplies. Corporate greed? They have employees living on site with their entire family including a boyfriend who seems to not leave for work. Which made me nervous about leaving anything in the room. Perhaps he had access to a master key or maybe she could make him a key to each room? The room was not clean. Spots on the toilet. Dried pee. Food under the bed. Then the 2nd night I noticed a distinct odor in the restroom. I grew up in a rural area, the smell could not be mistaken. It was a dead rodent in the walls. I assume they had put out poison and the mouse or rat went looking for water. And the smell got so bad we would almost vomit before we left. No sense in complaining. The employees couldn’t do anything about it. They made it clear. No other hotels in the area had any room. I checked. The towels did not smell clean. Neither did the bed linens. Almost smelled like they didn’t use detergent. Gross.

Not good

The pool was cold and murky. You must go to the front desk for towels. The place smells like weed on the second floor. Ran out of milk for the cereal. Ran out of waffle batter. Not good for $267 for one night.

Could be better

Room was not very clean, hairs in the bathtub and around toilet, stains on the sheets, refrigerator in the room was not clean. On the morning we were leaving, the toilet got clogged and they were unable to provide a plunger or anything until maintenance came in at 10 AM, luckily we were leaving so this wasn't a huge issue. We had issues with the keys not working multiple times and had heard others with this issue as well. Staff was very friendly and helpful though.

Não recomendo

Solicitei um quarto silencioso para uma diária apenas, precisava dormir, algo que não consegui. Me colocaram no quarto do lado de um outro com crianças que fizeram barulho de meio noite e as 6h da manhã. Liguei constantemente reclamando para a recepção. Quando foi de manhã, um atendente foi lá reclamar, e não adiantou nada. Quando reclamei, a gerente não estava e não podia atender. E a única resposta que tive foi “Desculpa”. Houve uma falta de atenção e possíveis soluções para que tivesse uma boa estadia. Paguei uma diária para dormir e foi em vão. Se prepare porque se você tiver uma reclamação não espere solução. A pessoa da recepção não te ajudará e não há gerente disponível.
