A very relaxing break

Beautiful location - I could have sat at the little chairs in the window and looked at the sea and the castle forever. Lovely comfy bed and gorgeous cotton bedding. Very nice breakfast & lovely host. Parking very easy & free. A very relaxing break.

Highly recommended

Host very kind and friendly, room is clean and well stocked with tea, coffee, biscuits, hot chocolate, and a bottle of water in the minifridge. Great location with a sea view, you can open your window and listen to the sound of the sea. Bathroom is good but I would've appreciated somewhere to hang up our towels as there really wasn't much space for that.

An excellent base for exploring Scarborough

It is on the quiet North Beach but surprisingly close to South Beach and Peasholm Park. There are bakeries and food shops nearby. I enjoyed the sea/castle view from my window, cooked breakfast which was nicely served and overall convenience. Noise-wise, a lot depends on other guests staying.

Excellent stay, highly recommended

Fantastic stay, beautiful room with lovely sea view. We were dealt with exclusively by one lady throughout our stay who was very friendly and efficient. Breakfast was excellent. There is limited parking outside, enough for 5 cars I reckon but we got a space no problem. 10 min walk to Peasholm Park and similar to the old town and south bay in the other direction. Bed very comfortable, shower really good.

peace, tranquility & friendliness

Many thanks for your awesome hospitality! I found everything i was looking for & more: a friendly helpful landlady, a very comfy spotless room with beautiful charming decor & a 24/7 sea view from my window. This singular is spacious enough for my yoga mat. There are Cooplans and another lovely bakery shop in very close proximity. 10 min walking to the town center, 5 descending to the North Bay. How about sitting in your comfy chair with a cuppa watching regatta withing sunset?
