Some comments after spending three nights. Pros: *Room is spacious, has an aesthetically nice rustic look, and is clean (see note below) *There is plenty of hot water for showering and there it comes out hot immediately. *A small amount of complimentary firewood is provided. *The hotel has beautiful grounds filled with fruit trees and offers a pleasant place to relax (see note below) *The buffet breakfast is delicious (but a bit limited). *The staff were very nice and attentive to our needs. Cons: *The beds were on the hard side *There was some mold on the shower curtain *The sink basin gets wet readily due to the faucet flow and water drips to the floor. *We could clearly hear the footsteps (and to a lesser extent the voices) of the people in the room above us. The hotel does provide earplugs at no charge. *We were only provided with one bar of soap a night, so we needed to use it for both the shower and sink. I asked the night watchman if he could get us another bar in storage and he said I would need to wait for the cleaning women in the morning. *In the morning, loud banda music was blaring from the raquet court below us, disturbing the tranquility of our stay. All in all, I would recommend Sanduga Suites, but it falls short of excellence due to the shortcomings mentioned above, many of which could be easily remedied.

You need a car to get any where from here

The help leaves at 10 pm, and a family of 5 was about 12 feet from my room. They had a daughter that was literally screaming at 12 midnight. I asked them nicely to please sleep, they just kept laughing. I called the phone number, no one responded. Not even today, 4 days later. I did not sleep ALL NIGHT because of them. It was impossible to reach management her. Also I am upset that hotels.com would even recommend this hotel to me. I asked for central and downtown. I am a senior, and there are so many stairs and no hand rails. I almost fell 2 times! Only restaurant was 5-6 blocks away. To go to the lake or downtown, walk 5-6 blocks, then try to figure out which direction to go.

Las habitaciones muy limpias amplias instalaciones excelente agua caliente solo la cama está dura AMI no me gusta pero muy limpias y las amenidades muy pobres el desayuno muy medido y poco , para comprar algo está como a tres cuadras para quien va a descansar EXCELENTE , O PARA PAREJAS, las cabañas en áreas verdes totales el personal amable apesar que no se dan abasto a la hora del desayuno muy poco personal para tanta gente y solo te dan huevo con pocos frijoles y café para comelones o guste de fruta para desayunar no hay pero las sras muy amables

El lugar está muy bonito, alejado un poco de lo urbano, sin embargo algunos de los que se hospedaban ahí hacían mucho ruido y no dejaron dormir, además considero que le hace falta darle un poco de mantenimiento al lugar, pero en general es muy agradable el lugar, precio accesible y fácil de transportarte.

El hotel se encuentra relativamente cerca del embarcadero para ir al Tour de la Isla Janitzio, pero lejos (5 km) del Centro Historico. Por lo cual, al estar lejos del centro, ya como las 7-8 de la noche, se queda desolado el lugar. Sin embargo, he de decir que el Hotel esta hermoso, la habitacion es enorme, con chimenea, tiene jardin y area de juegos para niños, areas verdes y en general es amplio. El personal de cocina es en demasía amable, y con mucha disposicion para ayudar siempre, cocinan riquisimo tambien. El Wifi es inestable pero se compensa con todo lo anterior. Como nosotros llevamos vehiculo, cuentan con estacionamiento y asi pudimos movernos a los distintos puntos de la ciudad y alrededores. El costo de la habitacion es aceptable y economica para todo lo que ofrecen. Una sugerencia, deberian de dar botellas de agua mas grandes.
