The check in is interesting and I'm not a fan or the screen without a person style, very impersonal and the system is not altogether clear. The fire alarm went off at 2:30am without any explanation, everyone met in reception in complete chaos. Thankfully there was no real fire or there would have been some casualties given the main entrance seemed to be in lockdown! The staff didn't appear trained and there was no offer of apology later, just very tired visitors....
The bed however was comfortable (biggest pillows ever which doesn't suit everyone), clean and roomy shower and overall decent sleep the second night. Location is great. 8 mins walk from the central station and 5-10 mins to the main part of the city. Not a bad price. Spend your breakfast money at the fantastic little cafe De Almondo just a minute from the hotel, and top tip for good value Asian meal at the amazing taste Korean restaurant £12 for a choice of noodles/rice with vegetables and or meat such as teriyaki or sweet and sour, lovely service.
