We stayed at GM Estate for 6 nights. The property is new and modern, but overall the experience was underwhelming for a longer stay. The family suite was spacious, with a huge bathroom, but lacked basics like salt and pepper, a tea towel, drying rack, Fairy. We appreciated the travel cot and high chair, but they werenโt set up despite being requested in advance - which was annoying.
The gym is a good size with a decent range of equipment. Breakfast was fine if youโre staying for 2โ3 days, but for longer stays it was poorโsame limited options daily, no decaf coffee, and no local fruit like mango. Tan and Lukkate were especially polite and helpful, though some staff were overly strict (e.g. not allowing us to take a banana, despite having paid for breakfast).
Housekeeping was inconsistentโbins werenโt always emptied, towels not replaced, and floors not properly cleaned. Wi-Fi was a major frustration: it kept disconnecting across all devices and required constant re-login. Management tried to help, but the issue persisted.
Reception and security staff were excellentโfriendly, helpful with luggage, and ensured taxis pulled up close. However, the nearest BTS is a 10min walk (in Bangkokโs heat, thatโs not a comfortable stroll ), and the hotel is a few streets from sleazy massage parloursโsomething families should be aware of.
In conclusion, we wouldnโt return for a long stay.
