NO coffee pot!

No coffee pot! What!? I would of brought mine had i known. Had to go to next town over and buy one. Or pay $5 per cup, a day in town. Cheaper to buy the maker. Otherwise, very nice place to stay.

Motel/ Hotel/ inn of horrors a nightmare

Place was not a pleasant stay. Basically held you to your room w/o reinbursement. Photos of room was not what the regular rooms look like. Cleaniness first room smelled like wet mildew old outhouse and not cleaned well no door on bathroom, bla k mold spots everwhere, second room no better carpet dirty spider webs and bugs althrough room and window ledges. Couldnt get my money back. I do not recommend anyone stay here better off sleeping outside.

Pictures advertised aren't what they are.

The pictures that are on the site for booking are nothing like it in real life. The staff was nice. But the rooms were filthy. Cobwebs every where, the door had choclate or something all over it, fridge smelled like rotten eggs. The floor was so bad. And no where to plug anything in unless you unplug a lamp, and plugs aren't near bed. and lamps don't work. The pool was green water. Good thing their was lake access. I wish i took more pictures. Glad we were at the room just to sleep.

Not a bad stay if you are just there to sleep.

The pictures from the main inn site was a little deceiving to the room we rented. However, the inn was close to the beach and nearby some shops.

Just what I was looking for - end of summer get away. Price was favorable. Room location was really nice. Bed was comfortable. I like to walk and the location was near to everything I was looking for in Mackinaw City.

The dungeon

A very disappointed stay in Mackinac. They have 2 sets of rooms one is in the original hotel and the other is an old rooms that should be bulldozed. Didn't feel secure no lighting in the parking lot no lighting at the room had to be 2 feet away to see the room number. I'm all of 5 foot 7 and in this room I could touch the ceiling. Musty smelling and damp in the room. Hole in the wall in the bathroom and holes in the rug. And to top it all off the tv didn't work. For a grand total of 230us for 2 nights way overpriced.

Motel is disgusting; cabins MIGHT be ok.

Only consider staying in the beach side cabins. The motel itself is disgusting. Mold on the curtain in the bathroom, dirty sheets on the bed, some sticky substance in a puddle on the bedside table, need I say more? Not worth $50 much less the $178 I was charged.

We’d stay again

We had a nice. Waterford room on the third floor. The view was amazing. The gentleman that checked us in was very nice and accommodating.

Deceitful

Hotels.com lied to us. Deceived us. Very deceptive practices. We didn't end up staying because we refused to stay in a junkyard. We did not get a lakeview cabin as promised instead we were shown a cabin amongst junk and filth. I disputed the charge with American Express and plan to file a complaint with the better business bereau.

Terrible experience

I was VERY disappointed in the overall stay at Waterfront Inn. The room was sticky, window air-conditioning was loud, spider webs in all corners, stained sheets, light in the bathroom didn't work. They put a lamp in there to see. The room smelled weird and parking was also terrible.

On the web site when u order, u see a picture of cabins and inside pictures are also of cabins. In reality it is motel with completely different looking rooms interior and just 3 cabins on the beach. Motel rooms are dirty and disgusting. Carpels smells horrible.
