A hidden gem

A fantastic hotel. Convenient location a short stroll from the train station, and a short bus journey/taxi to the airport. On first appearance it didn't look great, as the hotel is down a passageway, but don't judge a book by it's cover. On entering the building it was fresh, clean and inviting. The staff were helpful and friendly. And then on entry into the room....wow! It was modern, spacious and had a huge outdoor area, with seating for socialising. Rooms were freshened up daily to a good standard.

Uncomfortable sleep

The check-in process and cleanliness were fine, but we had trouble sleeping due to noise from neighboring rooms, like loud toilet flushes and door noises. Additionally, the 'free breakfast' was just one croissant and coffee, which was not up to our expectations at all. I cannot come back to this again and cannot recommend at all.

Standort der Unterkunft beim Bahnhof war sehr praktisch. Metro, Busse und Züge ganz in der Nähe, so dass Flughafen, Innenstadt aber auch viele weitere Orte leicht zu erreichen waren. Auch unsere gebuchte Tour zu Vesuv und Pompeij startete gard um die Ecke. Natürlich sind Bahnhofgegenden in der Regel nicht Topklasse. Für uns war es aber ganz ok. Die Unterkunft war geräumig, ruhig und sauber. Frühstück gabs im einem Cafe in unmittelbarer Nähe. Wir würden wieder hier buchen!

Very close to train station, quite a sketch area, but we felt safe because the hotel is inside a building locked by a large door that you are given the code to enter. Very clean, modern rooms, very strong water pressure, poor bathroom lighting, very uncomfortable bed. Also very cheap, so overall a good deal. They give you vouchers for a free coffee and croissant at a small cafe down the street

Convenient but not pleasant location

Stayed at Michele's property for 2 nights. We needed something close to the train station and to catch the Metro to a soccer game at Stadio Maradona. He was a wonderful host and the room was impeccable. Clean, new, fairly spacious, nice bathroom with a wonderful shower. The hotel door is not marked. It is basically an opening in a large wooden gate that opens to a garage area and then the stairs. It is part of a larger building.This seems to be common in Naples. Michele and staff were very kind, and allowed us to check in early. The surrounding area is not pleasant. There are homeless guys living across the street and a lot of street vendors/guys hanging out activity. We did not encounter any issues, even coming home at midnight with 2 kids. But it is not pretty or relaxing. I think the location works for proximity to the station, but I wouldn't choose it for a long stay since it is not as close to the nicer areas on Naples.

This hotel is just what you need if you plan on being out and about in Naples. The neighborhood is a little sketchy but we never felt unsafe. The room has everything you need, but it is tight. What makes it nice is its proximity to every mode of transportation. Michele is the attendant and is very helpful with questions about Naples.

Para quem quer ficar próximo a estação central de Nápoles, fica a uma quadra. Como vários hotéis nesta região ele começa no primeiro andar. O prédio e antigo mais foi todo reformado na parte interna. Clean room, good location, decent price

VPM Rooms is in an ideal location near the Garibaldi train station in Naples to access transportation within and outside the city. One might be a bit concerned about safety given the neighborhood, but there are uniformed police inside and outside the station. The property is newly renovated and clean and communications with management were clear using WhatsApp. Rooms are a bit small but well organized. The breakfast is choice of croissant and coffee.
