Nice view of the Acropolis from the bedroom window. The bedroom and bathroom were very compact but okay for a few nights. Unfortunately, sleep was disturbed as the stated sound-proofing failed to silence the noise of traffic etc from the street. Also, the airconditioning unit was noisy even when switched off; the noise was coming through the unit's ventilation panels from elsewhere. Nice size TV but the internet kept dropping each evening making it difficult to watch anything via the internet.

Great hotel in a central location to explore the majority of historic sites in Athens. With plenty of shops and restaurants options on your doorstep or with 5-10 minutes walk. Customers service was great, room very clean. Highly recommended.

Great location

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. We were celebrating our 25th anniversary and we arrived in the room to a nice bottle of wine. Very thoughtful! The location was great as everything was walkable. The rooftop restaurant had an amazing view of the acropolis.

The staff was professional and friendly. The hotel is modern, clean, and beautifully furnished. The beds were much more comfortable than any European bed I've slept in :) Service was prompt and clear, like coming to fix our safe and bring towels. Walkable to anywhere. A little pricey but worth it for the experience. I would definitely stay there again!

Positive: - Staff is very friendly and responsive - Hotel is in walking distance to all important spots - Akropolis view from the room is beautiful Negative: - The hotel provides you with earplugs. And you will need them. - The walls are thin. You will hear your neighbours. - The windows are even thinner. You will hear everything that happens in the street. And that's a lot ... - There is a church in front of the hotel which starts ringing the bells at 7 in the morning. They are LOUD! Therefore I would not stay there again.

I can not say enough about the wonderful staff, they have been fabulous. The location was in the heart of everything, walking distance to shops, dining and historical locations. I would highly recommend the Regal as a preferred place to stay in the heart of Athens.

Our room was exactly what we were looking for. We had an incredible view of the Acropolis and were within easy walking distance of everything we wanted to see and experience in the city. The rooftop restaurant has incredible food and drinks. Our shower leaked into our room. It did not ruin our time there, but it's why we took a star off the property conditions.

Really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are a little small and they don't have a big lobby to relax in, but the location and modern style of this hotel make it a winner. Walking along Mitropoleos is super safe and clean, area in the heart of the city center. Tons of shops and restaurants. Highly recommend for solo travelers. Really a great spot!
