I had a terrible stay and there is nobody to get in contact with in a timely manner. This hotel should be called catfish because the looks of pictures are very decieving. I had dirty sheets and nats in my room and all I was told is wait until tomorrow because there was nothing they could do.

It was nice to have a pool right outside our room the beds where comfortable the only thing about our room that i didn't like was it was to hot the air was not blowing through the room well everything else was fine.

The remodel of this hotel was done very nicely. The room could have used more towels, as there were only enough for one person even though there were two people on our reservation. I would also recommend some sort of rug at the front of the entry door to keep some of the dirt out of the room. There is not carpeting at all in the room so sand from the beach or shoes, made the floor extremely dirty.

Newly renovated property directly across the beach, very nice if going with small family or couple. Less than a 5 min walk to piggly wiggly, shops , restaurants and bar, less than a min walk to beach and a 10 minute walk to boardwalk. This location was perfect I will definitely book again, this is my new favorite vacation spot.

The photos are exactly what the room looks like. However, the walls are thin. The hotel is exactly what it looks like an older hotel that has been recently renovated. Expect to hear your neighbors. I personally don’t like that there is no deadbolt or any type of lock other than the one on the handle. It definitely served his purpose. Probably wouldn’t stay here again looking for something a little bit more secure.

No matter what, do not stay here!

My wife and I stayed because we were on our honeymoon. When we got there it was so filthy and nasty and all you could smell outside of our door was urine! There is no staff at all, there is no front desk, everything is a virtual check-in. So with everything being a virtual check-in the only communication we had with these people were through texts! We text them as soon as we got there and told them that we were not happy at all with the room, that it had been misadvertised and we were afraid to stay there because of all of the drug deals going on in the parking lot! Whoever was on the other side texting me let me know real quick that we would not be getting a refund at all and that we could either like it or lose our money and go somewhere else. We had no choice but to stay because we had already spent so much money to have this room for a week! My wife text and said that we needed clean towels and wash rags and toilet paper, it took them 24 hours for them to get any of that to us! This is the most disgusting despicable place we have ever seen! We have never had such terrible service ever!! And like I said we were on our honeymoon!! When my wife told them that we we're coming for our honeymoon a few months before we arrived they immediately messaged her back and told her that they were so excited for us and that there would be extra things done for us because of our honeymoon! What a joke! Stay far away from Fins Inn!!!!!!

This was the best, affordable and safe place i have ever been in my life! The decore was something out of a luxury hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. This place is now my official vacation spot. And everything was walking distance. We will mostly come back and I HIGHLY recommend this spot for anyone thats a married couple or single. See you again next year!!!

They did a pretty good job of remodeling, very cute, clean, etc. We had a very small room, one window with no view, located right by the stair well so lots of noise but our son had a floor to ceiling view of the pool, huge room, double beds & separate alcove with another bed & our rates were almost the same! Not sure why? It's not in the best part of town. There's no front desk so couldn't ask questions, etc.

This hotel acts like a airbnb. They do not tidy up the room each day like a regular hotel would. You're on your own. No one on premises to handle guests situations at all. This detail is omitted from the website when booking the room. The only good thing about this place was the proximity to the beach. You get what you pay for I suppose...

This property has no front desk. We were there for four days, and from day one we had a problem. The tv didn't work and there was nothing on the large window in the room that was on the first floor for privacy. We placed pillows and a beach towel on the window. The window was corrected by supplying us with a large cardboard over the glass. The tv was finally fixed on day three.

Terrible customer service! Our party of 7 had booked 2 rooms when we arrived at this virtual check-in hotel, but didn't receive a code to get in the rooms. I called a few times and texted but no one answered. After nearly an hour of this, with no response, I reached out to Expedia (another long ordeal on chat) and was told the hotel was waiting for me to reach out to them! So someone answered that time and told me I didn't get a code because I needed to pay a security deposit. By this time I was pretty frustrated and doubtful I would even get a security deposit back since so one ever answers the phone! I asked for a management contact, but the representative was rude and dismissive, refusing to cancel our reservation or providing information other than the phone number. I tried cancel with Expedia to no avail since the hotel was going to keep the security deposit. Long story short, it took over 2.5 hours to get the code! When we finally got into the rooms, we found: No toilet paper in one bathroom, pizza crust on the back window sill, hair on the toilet seat, crumbs in the pull-out sofa, lamps that didn't turn on over the beds, and a busted shower. The next day, I texted at 8:20 am and called 6 times about a late check-out. I didn't get a text until 10:03 am. Not available. Check out was a 10. Do yourself a favor: DO NOT COME HERE. It’s unprofessional and a complete waste of time and money!

Idk why i thought this property would be different, but you get what you pay for!!!! The location was the best thing going for this property (one block from the beach and walking distance to the Sky Wheel)This was our first time visiting Myrtle Beach and will never go back. The nick name Dirty Myrtle holds true. The area had trash everywhere you went. We didn't go out after dark. Our room: the window was cover with 2 sheer curtain panels held up with push pins. We should have turned around and left then. Checked the beds, they were clear of bugs but stains on the bedspread, thank goodness we had brought our on blanket we had to use the other bedspread for the window cover. Hair on the towels and wash cloths!!!!! Knats or some sort of flying bugs. I had brought cleaning supplies to clean the bathroom and used the cleaning spray to spray the bugs. Used our beach towels to dry off. Left a day earlier couldn't stand another night. 3 night stay.

Did not stay due to safety concerns

TLDR; did not stay due to concern on safety, no refund. I usually stay at recognized hotel chains but have decided to start checking out the smaller, local ones for their uniqueness. I base hotel solely on customer reviews and not on stars. A few days prior to my trip I noticed that the reviews had changed to one that did not meet my standards. When I tried to request a refund I was told it was past the cancellation date (it was). When asked why the reviews changed so drastically I was told they did know. Still hesitant…I decided to give it a try. When I took the Uber to the hotel I asked the driver of her thoughts of safety and any local knowledge of the hotel. While nothing specific was said you could see her reaction was not favorable. We drove by it and she said she believed the house beside it was a crackhouse and would not advise it. I alphas her take me to where my sister was staying without even stopping.

The room was booked for one night they stated virtual check-in and assistance, with an access code to be provided for a contactless experience. But despite our repeated attempts to reach out for their failure, we were left stranded with no way to enter the property. We waited in desperation, trying to contact the property and Expedia agents, hoping for some kind of resolution. As the night grew darker, we had no choice but to sleep in our car, abandoned and helpless. A refund was requested through Expedia the next morning, then magically the property eventually responded later that evening, hours after check-out time with our access code and room number which made no sense at all. And now, to add insult to injury, refuses to refund due to a supposed communication issue. This is not just a mistake or a miscommunication - this is theft.

I quickly notified them and thought someone would come check it but nope no one came to check it nor did they come to clean up the water. We used the towels they provided all week to keep the water soaked up. My family and I had to go buy us some towels to use as well as toilet paper and trash bags. Also the next day after returning to the room from the beach we go to shower and notice the shower curtain was missing, luckily someone that worked there was able to get us one, there is no staff on sight just fyi. I have pictures of the wall where the leak was and the floor, to me personally it was a fire hazard, if I hadn’t already paid we may have looked elsewhere once we noticed the conditions of the room. Other than that it was located close to the beach so if your there for just the beach and maybe without kids because of the sketchy area it would be an okay place. Hopefully the owners will fix the issue leak in room 209, that could potentially be a hazard if not fixed or checked.
