Great Family Place in Lake George

We had a great five nights at Marine Vilage Resort in August. The room and grounds were very clean and well maintained, especially for a lakefront motel with a beach. The beach and swimming area were very accessible and with the playground and swimming pool, it made for a great place for kids to play and enjoy. The fire pits were nice at night to sit around. Staff was friendly and helpful. It is a very good overall location with so much of the area within easy walking distance.

Lakefront beach and close to everything f!

The location was perfect! We were able to swim in Lake George at their private beach, swim in the pool, play ping pong and sit ariund the fire pit at njgnt. We walked to gift shops, dinner and the arcade. There is no reason to get back in your car, which we love. We can’t wait to return next summer!

Cute place to stop on road trip to see Lake George. Family oriented. Felt like stepping back in time in an old motel but super clean. Right on lake, easy walk to town.

My favorite resort on the Lake

Marine Village never disappoints. It’s the best location on Lake George. The rooms are clean and there have been updates to the property since our last stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It is right at the start of the downtown strip so it’s close to the shops and restaurants. It has a great beach area and pool. If I had to pick a negative the water pressure in the showers is very low but overall a great vacation spot!

To pricey,could of got another hotel much cheaper.The rooms was small ,at 1am my kids smelled a burnt smell in the room could be the tv maybe it overheated,the water in the tub was taking to long to go down.

We have been going to Lake George for years, the last few bringing our toddlers. Marine Village Resort was the PERFECT location for us to park the car and not have to use it agin until check out. It is walking distance to everything in the village which makes for an easy morning grabbing bagels or a quick walk to lunch of dinner at one of the fabulous restaurants on the lake. The resort itself is fantastic (especially for young kids)! The swimming area in the lake is safe and perfect for floats while not being too deep! The chairs lined up are a great touch for lounging (if you get a minute) or placing your beach bags or napping kiddo! The playground is amazing! Lots of entertainment, different games around beach and pool area for all ages! The rooms are a great size, clean and equip with a fridge and microwave for those leftovers from that lunch on the lake! We can't wait to book our trip back to the Marine Village for this upcoming season!
