Hold Owner Accountable
Upon arrival, I observed that the room appeared to be either uncleaned or unused, as evidenced by spider webs on the keypad. Despite this, I entered the room, opened the drapes, and found numerous dead flies. Later that night, I inadvertently stepped on a cockroach that had not been present earlier. Fortunately, I had Clorox wipes and Lysol spray, as well as paper towels, which I used to clean the room. As a guest, is it my responsibility to clean the room, or is it the hotel's obligation to provide a clean and sanitary environment? Due to my exhaustion from the long trip, I chose not to escalate the issue. Unfortunately, the hotel's advertised amenities, including breakfast, were not available, which will deter me from visiting this establishment again.
