Room was great, very spacious and as advertised a nice view across the marina and port area. Bathroom clean and modern, shower was good pressure wise, however for half the time of the 2 night stay the water temperature was barely warm, reported to staff twice. During the second night a couple of total power outages caused by a function downstairs was interesting, and highlighted that no emergency lighting was installed in the room or bathroom, fortunately, opening the curtains gave enough light coming of the marina lights to partially illuminate the room. Breakfast was nice, staff throughout the stay were warm and welcoming and helpful. Hotel overall was clean warm and nice, however parking leaves a lot to be desired, there are not many available parking spaces in the car park which fills up quickly if there's any sort of function on, and not that many out the front either, outside of that, the area is somewhat restrictive with parking regulations, and if you're visiting the area as many guests will be, they need somewhere to park, and this is a major problem

There was no hot water in the room when I tried to shower in the morning. I reported this to the manager, who said it was because there were too many guests trying to shower the same time.However, I was travelling with friends in other rooms, and after checking with them, they attempted to shower at different times between 6:30 am and 9:00 am, so this explanation doesn’t seem accurate. Breakfast was also disappointing, with cold toast and only one slice of bacon provided.
