The location is terrific: less than ten minutes' walk - pulling luggage - from Amstel Station; across the street from Lidl (grocery - similar to US Aldi); a block and a half from a lovely park; ten minutes walking to restaurants and shops. Our room was lovely, with an excellent bed and a walk-in waterfall shower; staff were all solicitous and helpful; and the breakfast each day was really a brunch with many, many options. Chasse Hotel Residency was perfect for our four-day visit to Amsterdam!

The staff was very friendly and helpful! the room was just around the corner from the reception desk which was convenient. At times in the evening we could hear a bit of noise . The breakfast was very good! The only compliant is this hotel is on the Eastside which made our travels to the central area a long way (for us) to travel. One must walk a few blocks to get the tram and then travel about 20 to 30 minutes to get around where all the good restaurants are and cancel rides, museums. But the hotel was very nice.

The hotel is fantastic. The building is a former church and the rooms are clean. They even have an A/C which is not obvious in older constructions. The breakfast buffet is excellent. The location is 800 m from Amstel station which has a lot of connections both to the centre and away. Walking to the station may be a problem because of the distance and some stairs on the way. Lidl is around the corner which is great!

Average hotel - service is hit & miss, some staff are very polite but the hotel didn't give me a wake up call at my requested time. Condition of the property is okay, a bit dated. Not a bad hotel but quite overpriced

Clean rooms but no vista.

I booked a family room and was given two adjoining rooms. Our view out of the window in our ground floor rooms faces a patch of green with full of discarded items lying around next to a car park. This hotel is 800 metres away from Amstel Station. Close by there is Lidl Supermarket. Other than that - one would have to walk 800 metres to F&B joints.
