Just o.k. Bugs on floor in bathroom; on wall over window; blind was broken; freezer in frig need defrosted badly; no coffee for maker; water glass was flimsey paper thin plastic; walls paper thin hearing everything from person next room; toilet too low to floor making it hard for person with mobility problems to get up. Up front person was very nice. Would I stay there again??

This place was disgusting. The room had a peculiar odor and the bedding was stained. The tv was broken. There were no light bulbs in the lamps, leaving a single light for the whole room. The floor was sticky. The smoke detector had a plastic bag covering it. The room on either side was occupied by long term residents and we could hear both televisions thru the wall. My dog didn't even want to enter the room. I returned the keys and requested a refund, which i was given after asking multiple times. I later discovered that 10 minutes after I left, they charged me for the room again. I am now having to dispute the charge with my bank. I sucked it up and drove to Roanoke. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

No coffee in the lobby, outside of the motel was a mess. Nighttime manager was very pleasant. Someone tried to come in the door around 9 am without knocking. I told the morning manager and he said it was probably the cleaning crew. Not cool.

Room was clean ..new TV..furniture maybe a bit dated but in decent shape..there was an old mattress and some furniture by the outside stairs. Odd thing was no trash can in the room! Service was great though and friendly! Close to restaurants. Be aware its a 2 story building and there is no elevator!

Room and service should make price and location

Room we booked was not what we got! Not enough towels, the bed appeared to be dirty and the sheet was torn we had to request that the bed be looked at by management and that it be changed of which they did! Only 3 pillows for one bed and an ancient microwave the control was a dial tiny.

Last minute reservation. Room was very dirty. The person on the front desk was nice. The rooms are super old. Some People are living in this hotel full time, they guy was listening loud music until 11:30 and and his alarm went on 5 times at 6am. We could hear every step from other room.

The employee at the front desk was very nice and hospitable . Its close to the lake and good restaurants . So for the price it was a bit unkept as expected just could use a bit more fixing up and cleaning . Other than that cheap motel close to great fishing .

The room I reseerved was a king bed, I was given a key to a full bed room. When I let the service desk guy know he tried to convince me that it was a king bed. The dead bolt couldn't lock and I refused to stay in a room where I couldn't lock the door. He said it would be safe because I had the only key and setting the swing gaurd would secure it. He also said that that was how dead bolts worked, that you could open them from the inside without turning the dead bolt to unlock. He moved me to a king room and went to get a key programmed for me, then returned saying the room had been booked that morning and they would be checking in later yhat afternoon. Three rooms after that with two more dead bolts that wouldn't lock I was given a queen room that would actually lock. No apology was given for not having the room I actually booked.

Bath was advertised but no way to stoper the tub to take a bath
Remote did not work so tv was useless, you could turn it on but not change channels
This is supposed to be your "Rainfall Showerhead"

This property was very conveniently located and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I was greeted using my first name every morning and evening. I was house hunting in the area and they would check on my progress. I felt safe it was quiet and pleasant.
