Perfect family spot

Easy check in, public parking up the street, and a two minute walk to the center of Galway. Delicious coffee shop next door. This is the perfect spot for a family! Be sure to book the family suite (2 bedrooms) which is a rare gem of a find! We will be back.

Small

Small cramped room. We had enough room to move between the beds if we were single File. Really about 1 foot wide walk way between the beds. The windows needed to stay open to help cool the space but the blinds broke so that blocked the breeze. With the windows open you would hear all the street noise. Would not stay there again.

Visit to Galway

Eyre Townhouse exellent location especially for travellers to Galway via train or coach as just 10 mins walk from Ceannt station. It's located off Eyre Square. Only downside is noise from passing traffic at night. Breakfast wasn't available as their café next door was closed when I visited.

Emplacement parfait pour visiter Galway !

Très bonne opportunité pour visiter Galway ! A 2 pas du centre mais en même temps dans une rue assez calme. Parking à moins de 10mn a pied à 6,50€ pour la journée. La chambre était tres bien, bonne literie, tres propre, salle de bain idem. Bouilloire, mugs et thé/café dans la chambre. Je recommande !

Simple but good hotel!

The hotel is very central, 5-7 minute walk from the train station. Very kind and helpful staff! The rooms are okey, they are clean but feel a bit ”worn down”. The rooms are also very noisy/you can hear the rooms next to you very clearly, it’s also very loud if someone walks in the hallway. I do recommend this place, depending on what you’re looking for. As a woman traveling alone I felt safe here and in this area. An extra plus for it being close to a lot of things! They also provide a list with recommendations, that’s always nice.

Eyre Square Townhouse was in a great location. It was less than half a block to the city park. Wonderful cafe next door and shops all around. It was an easy walk to and from the train and or bus. The townhouse was very quiet at night to sleep.

Close to everything, cafés, shops and restaurants amd only a 15 min. walks to the dock for our Aran Island ferry tour. Tranquille and clean. Would stay there again.

The location was perfect! Close to shopping, pubs, and the train station. Luckily we didn’t have a car as there is limited parking right near the townhouse, although there is a car park for the nearby mall which is walkable. The room was cozy but lots of storage and a beautiful big washroom! We found the wifi would disconnect during the night so we’d be roaming in the a.m so just something to keep an eye on. We found the reception staff to be not very outgoing, a bit standoffish. Perhaps these townhouses operate a bit differently than hotels or other Airbnbs. On the upside, there was a fridge outside our room where we could store our drinks and leftover pizza! If you want a fantastic brunch, go to the cafe next door - it was excellent!!

We had a double room and it was very cramped. The location was fine, just a walk down a busy street to the main section of Cork. The hotel has a back outdoor area that was great for sitting around with refreshments in the fresh air.

Perfectly situated on a quiet street surrounded by shops, restaurants, and super close to the Latin quarter. The room was minimalist but clean. Comfortable bed, nice linens, and good water pressure. Delly helped us with late check-in and was very kind to us during our stay. She went above and beyond to make our time at the Eyre Square Townhouse peaceful and comfortable. Would return without hesitation.

Ok but wouldn’t repeat

The staff was incredibly nice, the place was ok but the room was too small. I travelled by myself but booked a room for 2 and had nowhere to open my luggage except blocking the way to the bathroom. What would happened if 2 people were staying there? I only got 1 towel and the shower didn’t have a drying mat so the only option was to step on the cold floor after you showered. I payed more for my stay in this sort of B&B without breakfast than in a 4 star hotel in Dublin so I expected more of it as well. It was disappointing.
