The stay was simply cozy, peaceful, serene, homey, and rejuvenating. The place is magical and beautiful and extremely well maintained. The breakfast was delicious and prepared from homegrown products. The owner and operator of the property is sweet and extremely responsive! We loved it and we highly recommend it as a peaceful and romantic retreat.

The owners, Gianna and Mimmo, are wonderful hosts—so kind and a pleasure to chat with. They gave us excellent restaurant recommendations and even gave us a ride into town, which was such a thoughtful touch. Breakfast was delicious, the grounds are spacious and beautifully kept, and the pool made for a very relaxing stay. There are also massages available on the property, which added to the experience. Overall, superb quality and highly recommended for a peaceful countryside getaway.

We had a magical visit. The grounds of the property are STUNNING with beautiful gardens, paths, and ancient olive trees. The staff were very friendly and helpful with great local recommendations. And the complementary breakfast was fresh and delicious – with homemade breads, jams, and olive oil. We highly recommend staying!

Wonderful and welcoming

We had a fantastic three days at Mastropà. Gianna and family were very welcoming and accommodated all our requests. The property has been lovingly restored over eight years (!) to the lovely home away fro home it is today. With only six rooms it is very quiet and relaxing. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast is homemade and provided with a welcoming smile from Gianna and her chef, with different variety from day to day. Gianna was constantly available throughout the stay to recommend restaurants for dinner and to help with bookings and finding parking nearby. A real gem only in its second summer, but with all the right elements for a great break.
