This is a very new hotel with excellent facilities and a great accommodation environment. Compared to some older hotels, it offers exceptional value for money. The hotel features hot water pools (not sure if they are hot springs), but the design and facilities are significantly better than the famous Upper Hot Springs. Built against the mountain, the hotel appears to have four separate buildings, but they are conveniently connected by a corridor on the fourth floor. Located at the entrance of the town, it is right across from a gas station, a convenience store, and a fast-food restaurant that stays open until 10 PM. The restaurant on the first floor of the hotel is decent. Dinner portions are generous, though the variety is limited. Breakfast, however, requires a longer wait. The staff are friendly and approachable. Overall, this hotel provided a great accommodation experience.

Noisy and overpriced. If you're a light sleeper this hotel is no good. There's a constant loud noise from the HVAC systems which you can't escape from. I wouldn't stay there again because of it. Unlike the Pan Pacific in Vancouver which is really quiet in comparison

Beautifully renovated gem in the Rockies

We had a two night getaway at the canoe hotel and enjoyed ourselves so much. The highlight for us at this hotel are the two hot pools on the roof with a view of the mountains. We also love the happy hour at the restaurant Sudden Sally. Rooms are large and beds comfortable. Their eco friendly coffee and tea program was refreshing!

Das Hotel ist super schön, etwas hellhörig gegen den Flur, da die Türen schlecht abdichten. Ausser einer altmodischen, schmiedeisernen Garderobe mit 5 Haken hatten wir keine Möglichkeit Kleider aufzuhängen. Nicht einmal ein einziger Kleiderbügel stand uns zur Verfügung. Ein Hotel dieser Sternenklasse in diesem hohen Preissegment sollte da schon etwas kundenfreundlicher eingerichtet sein. Wir hatten Blick zur Strasse mit einem schönen Balkon. Ansonsten war alles OK.

Look no further ...

If you're researching hotels in Banff - this is the one. It is incredibly clean, accessible, and overall the best location you could ask for (but definitely upgrade to the mountain view!). With transit tickets included in the stay, you can hop on the bus across the street throughout the day to get downtown (and it is quick and easy - Google has accurate updates on the transit arrival times). The bed was a *bit* hard and noisy, but a very small thing to note, and absolutely not a deal-breaker. The hot-tub area is amazing with the fire pit and views. We wouldn't stay anywhere else!

Delightful hotel experience!

Amazing experience. The hotel is decorated beautifully and is very comfortable in all aspects. The hotel staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating. I would definitely recommend staying here and will definitely stay here again when visiting Banff!
