The stay was nice, the issue that I had with this location, has to deal with the direct management of this location, and the lack of service all together that the general manager would not give to me, which I can only assume is given to everyone because I never spoke to them. This location places multiple holds on your accounts funds, and this makes your financial institution to hold those funds in error. I brought this to the front desk attention the day before my departing date of 9/8/25. As of today, 9/12/25, they still had these hold on my account and I had to have my financial institution remove them. There were as many as 5 holds on my account for a variety of amounts, when the first hold was to cover the stay and incidentals. I had to call the location 4 total times, and never received a call from the general manager once. I also had to open a ticket with the corporate office of IHG to leave a complaint. I just want to know the reasoning of these issues, and I wait for that call back. This is hard to leave this type of review, when I enjoyed my stay at this location, but have been treated so poorly as a person who travels for work for the last 14 years. And to think I knew where I was going to stay my next time out in this area in the first weekend in Oct., but now need to find another location. Sad.
