Be aware that Hotel Amari does not have air conditioning and there was only one functioning outlet in my room - which was being occupied by the television. Great location, but there's not really a place to park that won't cost you at least 50 bucks a night.

Hotel Amari is in a good location and is a great price for downtown San Francisco. Rooms are adequate and bed is reasonable. Parking Garage is right next door. Be aware that they do not serve breakfast, but there are lots of options nearby. The staff was EXCELLENT!

The hotel was very clean and beds were comfortable. Only complaint was there were no AC vents in our room, so it was a little uncomfortable when we’d come back from it being shut up all day. Did have a big window and would cool off using the fan provided, but can’t imagine how hot it would get in there on really warm days.

Nice older hotel near union square. Nothing fancy here. Rooms are small and minimal amenities, but if you're looking for a decent stay in a great location that allows you to walk to bars, restaurants, shopping etc. It's all there. I would absolutely stay there again and probably will soon!
