Beautiful but dishonest

Beautiful hotel in a lovely location. Room was very comfortable and staff were accommodating. The only reason I didn't love it as they are now doing that "resort fee" scam where they tell you when you check in that they are charging you extra over and above the price you already paid. I find this dishonest, I would much prefer they are clear about the cost up front.
