Hotel was good but no free breakfast

The hotel and room was as expected - clean and comfortable- and the staff was super helpful. However, it was advertised to have a free breakfast. Part of the value of a hotel is the free breakfast for our family. They offered only coffee and juice -not breakfast. This was very disappointing and frustrating.

Extremely hot in building, rooms were even warmer. This made for a very uncomfortable arrival. Went to use the AC and the filters were filthy with what looked like a year or 2 worth of dust. Only 1 lamp worked in the room. Blackout curtains do not serve their purpose. Pillows squished flat, bed was not comfy and very spring like. Blankets were very thin. Only 2 plugs in room. Very hard to find place to plug phone chargers in. Carpets stained and dingy. Toilet is extremely small and low to ground. Almost like a child's potty training toilet. Small TV. Staff was not too pleasant. Late check out available for extra charge. Great location! Good amount of parking spaces. They contact you through text message to ask about rating your stay and what time you will be checking out. (Not sure if that is a good thing or intrusive)
