I checked out September 25th so this is a review of the hotel as Cat Ba recovers from the typhoon. The hotel was clean and staff were friendly. The sky at and pool were damaged in the typhoon and were being repaired. Overall a good place to stay.

Quy the waiter from Jolie bar was very nice and helpful and we had a great time in the pools . From the roof of the hotel there is a great view of the river and part of the town center . overall the hotel has a great atmosphere and everything including breakfast was great as in other 4* hotels

Great place to stay.

Great hotel and great location. A lot of cleaning up both at hotel (skybar and pool) and outside after typhon. It was very clean so we was very surpriced when we found a small bug living in the wall by the window at the breakfast. Otherwise it was a hreat stay. Restaurant in the hotel had so good food. Overall a fantastic stay. If i come back i will book this hotel and hope i get a toom with view over the bay. We had view over half the bay now.

Everything was just okay, despite booking the best room in the hotel. The TV had no channels, the breakfast buffet was very limited and small, the breakfast hours were short, the pool closes early, had to hold down the toilet flusher to get the toilet to flush, very weak shower pressure, more like a trickle, mini-fridge barely works, doesn't keep anything cold. Definitely not a VIP experience for the high price of booking.

Had a great 2 nights as part of a longer travel. The staff are friendly and helpful. The guy up at the pool bar makes wicked cocktails. Breakfast was ok. Quite noisy in the rooms and some guests smoke in the rooms, so a strong smell of tobacco as soon as we stepped out our room.
