hotel and its amenities are fantastic

I recently stayed at this hotel, and overall, it was a great experience. The location is excellent – right in front of the beach – and the views from my room were beautiful, even though I didn’t have a partial ocean view. I stayed on the 5th floor in the Royal Tower. The room was very clean and well-equipped. It had two very comfortable queen beds, a small fully equipped kitchen, a living room with a sofa bed, and a dining area with a table for six. The only downside of my stay was the sofa bed – it was in terrible condition, with springs poking through and very uncomfortable. Unfortunately, this made it a bad sleeping experience for my son. Aside from that, the room was excellent. The hotel offers its own parking lot, and you can park yourself without needing a reservation, which was very convenient. There are two pools – a large one and a smaller one for kids. The smaller pool is heated, and the larger pool had pleasantly warm water, perfect for this time of year when the weather is not very hot. There’s also a hot tub, which was a nice bonus. The property has a café and ice cream shop on-site, which was very good. One of the best perks of this hotel is that they provide beach chairs and umbrellas at no extra cost. The hotel staff is stationed right on the beach in front of the property and will set up as many chairs and umbrellas as you need. This is such a great service since you don’t have to worry about carrying anything to the beach yourself. Overall recommend it.

Overall, our stay was okay. The hotel’s location is excellent, the amenities are great, and we especially enjoyed the pool. However, the biggest downside was that the air conditioning in our room stopped working after the first day. Despite approaching the receptionist multiple times, it was never fixed during our 3-day stay. We were told that the air conditioning in all rooms was out of order and that nothing could be done until maintenance arrived. Unfortunately, by the time we checked out, the issue still hadn’t been resolved. While the property has a lot of potential, the lack of a working aircon and the unaddressed issue made the stay less comfortable than expected.

Wildwood fun

We stayed in the Royal Tower and was as described as in other reviews renovated in the 50's retro style fridge microwave coffemaker. The room was clean the house keeping service was prompt if you needed extra towels or were missing towels ie: hand or wash cloths. They provide daily room cleaning a definite plus these days when many hotels do not. The perks are great we used the shuttle they provide for free (both ways) to go to the boardwalk. The driver Jack was lively, friendly and informative on the trip over. You can also take the shuttle to Cape May. The hotel will provide two chairs, a beach ⛱️ and towels as well as a set up on the beach , all complementary. Remember to tip you guy they hussle. The Ocean side of the hotel is new and lovely I had the opportunity to see one of the rooms there and found that room similar to mine a one bedroom suite which I found was more cozy than the Royal Tower. The pool on that side had rental cabannas as well as fire pits to relax by at night all very lovely. Definitely a place to visit. Location is perfect for the beach and being out of the business of the boardwalk area.

Don’t go

This place had black mold all over bathroom door and ceiling and the air conditioner had mold as well. It seems like they fixed up one hotel and just threw some paint on the other one, the staff was not helpful at all when I explained about the mold and said they could send house keeping to clean it? Not sure you understand how mold works but things need to be replaced. I can’t believe they are even renting the rooms in this condition, it’s shameful!

Perfect Staycation couple getaway

Super clean, they had people cleaning all throughout the day all over the hotel. Inside and out . Very cute hotel and I loved the location . The shuttle was great (Sean the driver , 5 stars) Drew the manager came in clutch for recommendations where to eat . Trendy vibes he said by looking at our outfits and he didn't disappoint. Beach creek and mudhen . They were great spots to go. Two mile landing also great spot(crab legs yum) They should have these menus or brochures in the rooms though just incase someone isn't available to recommend . The bed was not that comfy and the pull out was worse . But glad we didn't spend much time sleeping . :) I realize wildwood resorts are family friendly , but the biggest complaint I have was the kids in the pool and hot tub. Mostly the parents not paying attention and letting them think its a free for all. I watched the poor towel /cabana girl get up a gazillion times to tell the kids to get out of the hot tub. The do not have a lifeguard so parents should be watching their kids. The kids just kept going back to the hot tub , then running and jumping in the pool. This could be a lawsuit waiting to happen if a kid busts his/her head open . The resort allows you to bring adult bevvies in the hotel/ & pool area just no glass. I found this very convenient. The food at the from the Rose and Vinyl were also really good and great options for non alcoholic beverages for my husband . Also make sure you rent bikes across the street :)

The hotel decor is adorable, very friendly staff, and everything was extremely clean. Pool area and outdoor sitting areas were absolutely perfect. So comfortable and a very relaxing atmosphere. Also the staff on the beach helping with chairs and umbrellas were wonderful. We can’t wait to plan another “friends’ getaway” for next year.
