We enjoyed the breakfast, ordering from the menu was nice, however we would’ve appreciated a wider choice of fruit options in the buffet section.
We ate dinner once at the hotel, the portions were huge, neither of us could finish our meal - two sides each came with a lot of the main courses.
The room was comfortable - it had an in room jacuzzi which we had paid extra for. On entering the room the floor was wet with condensation, it was really slippery. This was dangerous. We managed to try it out by leaving the air con on constantly which was achievable when we got a second room key, this was removed from the slot once or twice by staff and then the wet floor recurred. The jacuzzi sadly didn’t work for the first three nights of our four night stay. The hotel spend three days trying to fix it and then we were able to use it on our final night. This was a real shame and part of the reason we had selected the room. They did refund some money which we appreciated.
Overall the hotel is new, the roof top pool and bar and the indoor pool are nice. Hopefully the spa will be up and running soon. We never struggled to find parking on the road outside which was handy. The staff tried to help sort the jacuzzi but it was a shame it took 3 days out of the four we were there. I wouldn’t bother with a jacuzzi room in the future, our room also led directly out to the sea with a ladder and that was far better.
