Lovely overnight stay and dinner

A very comfortable overnight stay on our travel north to Scotland. Check in was efficient and quick. We had a nice evening meal in the restaurant. It was really busy so glad we had reserved. The choice of food was good with some daily specials. All our dishes were fresh and delicious. The drinks list was interesting with good options. In the morning we opted for cooked breakfast which was extra as only continental breakfast was included. All in all a good experience. Will definitely consider again on our travels north.

Lite, men veldig koselig overnattingssted i Doune. Vi lå der kun en natt, men hadde alt vi trengte. Nydelig middag på kvelden, og fokosten var heller ingenting å klage på! De som jobbet der var kjempe hyggelige og gav god service. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake!!

Impromptu stay (good weather) so booked at night at the Woodside. On arrival a nice wee bonus to be upgraded. Our room and the other facilities were spotlessly clean, the bed comfy and the shower great. The bar and restaurant both for drinks, dinner and breakfast had excellent choice and beautifully cooked….but what made the Woodside special was the staff….the service was excellent and friendly. Great stay, we’ll be back….with friends in tow.

Great little hotel

We had a very comfortable one night stay at The Woodside. The staff were friendly and efficient and the service was done with a smile. Dinner and breakfast were both excellent. The room was clean and tidy with a comfortable bed. The hotel is in a good location and we were able to walk into town and down to the castle in no time at all. We will definitely return for another stay.

Great stay.

Stayed for 1 night meeting family who came from a wedding in Edinburgh. We all found the staff friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was very clean and had excellent facilities.We would definitely stay there again.

Tolle Basis, mehr Zeit auf Basishygiene verwenden.

Tolle Basis, etwas auf dem absteigenden Ast was die Sauberkeit betrifft. Schimmel an den Duschbrausendüsen, Spinnweben an der Wand. Die Fenster bedürfen einer Sanierung. Die Basis ist gut und schön designed, die Betten bequem (2x 2 Tage hier verbracht). Der Pub stört nicht, ausreichend Parkplätze vorhanden.

We had a 2 night break with friends at the Woodside. Rooms were well appointed. Great showers. Food in restaurant was very good and the breakfasts were lovely. Wood definitely stay again and would recommend

Beautiful property. Comfortable bed. Fantastic shower. (Hey, sometimes the pressure isn't great in a rental!). We had dinner in the onsite bistro and it was magnificent. The only downside was the TV didn't work despite the staff's efforts. The next morning at breakfast we overheard other guests had the same complaint.
