Villa Flavia is built above a Roman bath and we were given a tour of the Roman remains. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The staff are efficient and helpful. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice.

A remarkable and memorable experience

The whole experience was truly memorable. From the moment we arrived, we felt like special guests with the warm welcome. The bedroom was so clean and perfectly arranged, including a very comfortable bed and beautiful high-quality products. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Tasty breakfast, friendly staff, amazing views from the rooftop terrace and the rooms have all amenities you need for a comfortable stay. Super convenient location - steps away from shops, restaurants and the Old Town, perfect for exploring. The owner also gave us tour of the ruins underneath the building, it was super interesting. We would definitely return.

We had a truly exceptional stay at Villa Flavia. The hotel was in a superb location, with a very friendly and helpful staff, and wonderful accommodations. The rooms were clean and modern, beds were very comfortable, and breakfast was plentiful. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Plovdiv and would choose it every time ! Check out the tour of the hotel-- it's built on ancient ruins and the hotel staff does a nice job of explaining the history.

Hôtel très bien situé , centre ville et historique . Parking privé sécurisé à 50m de l'hôtel . Chambre confortable et fonctionnelle . Personnel agréable et professionnel . Petit déjeuner de qualité qui peut se prendre dans le patio . Petit plus : une visite est organisée dans les sous sols de l'Hôtel où l'on retrouve des vestiges romains . Très bon séjour .

Villa Flavia was absolutely amazing. The hotel is perfectly placed for exploring Plovdiv. The rooms are clean and nice. The breakfast is great. The staff can’t do enough for you. All I can say is stay here … the Roman ruins below the building are amazing too. 10/10!!!!

All the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel's owner, Konstantin Kostov, was particularly impressive. Always there, it seemed, and he also gave an excellent talk about the Roman baths underneath the hotel. Whatever I asked of him, he always went the extra yard. Any criticism? I had to work hard to come up with one: the fridge in my room was not cold enough!
The hotel lobby -- the ancient gramophone and, behind it, an equally antiquated typewriter, are part of the hotel's ambience -- to give a sense of history.
