Great hotel, staff very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend, it's a little difficult to find but you will get sent some photos of the entrance via WhatsApp which solves the issue. Just a note that if you are arriving later than 8pm drop the hotel a quick note as they will then make arrangements to meet you.

The service was great, staff were very friendly and helpful. I received a message the before I was due to check-in with a warm welcome and tips on how to find the property. The room was clean and comfortable, was provided robe and slippers. I arrived at the hotel earlier than my check-in time and I was let into my room as it was ready. The lady that checked me in sat with me, provided a map and gave me some information and helpful tips on places to visit, breakfast/ lunch and dinner recommendations around the area. I stayed for 4 nights, this was a solo trip to Budapest for NYE and I couldn't be happier with the hotel choice. The staff were all beyond wonderful and location is close to public transport and into town.

The Metropolis was located in a terrific walkable area in Budapest and was perfect for seeing all the sites- not to mention all the wonderful restaurants in the area. The hotel only has 9 rooms and each one is different. It is very quiet and the black out shades were great. Staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel.
