Rooms were clean but very warm. We also couldn’t get the television to work. We were offered a room change which helped with the television issue and was slightly cooler. After the first night we found a fan available for use which solved that issue. We were concerned our first night because there was rap type music playing in the lobby but the rest of the stay the music was appropriate and pleasant. Staff were very efficient and hospitable.

New hotel and very clean and fresh. Breakfast nothing fancy at all and if you have allergies not much to eat. Dinner - find a different place to eat at. They offer a simple meal but at a reasonable rate.

Hot Water in the Morning for Shower

The only thing I did not like is that I did not get hot water in the morning to take a shower. Even waiting 1 or 2 minutes for hot water.

Hotellet er sådan set fint. Værelset var godt indrettet - dog lidt upraktisk placering af kontakter. Men meget upersonligt. Check In og ud samt køb af ydelser sker på en skærm. Sammenholdt mod andre hoteller i byen til samme pris, mangler den personlige kontakt. Jeg vil fremover ikke benytte hotellet, alene på grund af parkeringsforholdene. De få - ca 20 pladser der er foran hotellet, bliver ombygget til el biler. Alle andre skal parkere på bagsiden af hotellet og man skal gå hele vejen udenom hotellet for at komme ind. I regnvejr er det meget upraktisk. The hotel is kind of fine. The room was well furnished - although the placement of switches was a bit impractical. But very impersonal. Check in and out as well as the purchase of services takes place on a screen. Compared to other hotels in the city at the same price, the personal touch is lacking. I will not use the hotel in the future, solely because of the parking conditions. The few - about 20 spaces in front of the hotel will be converted to electric cars. Everyone else must park at the back of the hotel and you have to walk all the way around the hotel to enter. In rainy weather it is very impractical

Firealarm chaos and hot rooms

We visited this hotel since we were attending the Bryan Adams concert in Herning. The hotel is called "Aiden By Best Western Herning" but the hotel is not in Herning, it's in a small city outside Herning called Gødstrup We used google maps to find the hotel, We found the front entrance without the help of google maps. We used the self-service check in once we arrived in the hotel which worked fine. However, the trouble only started once we came back from the concert and wanted to go to sleep. The room was so warm we had trouble sleeping. It seems there was an air-conditioning unit in the room, but it didn't seem to be working properly. The window could only open slightly, so it didn't have any effect. When we finally managed to fall asleep, around 1:30am my wife woke up, by the sound of people in the hallways making a lot of noise, knocking on doors very loudly. Around 2am I woke up because the fire alarm went off, and that's where the real chaos ensued, since it was extremely loud All the hotel guests evacuated their rooms and gathered outside the front of the entrance and just waited.. the fire department showed up a few minutes later, and managed to turn the fire alarm off, but then the fire alarm started again / was turned back off. After that, we really didn't bother sleeping there, it was such an inconvenience. We drove back home in the middle of the night, super tired. P.S: I know the fire alarm is not the hotels fault. I hope they find whoever did it.

Vi lavede online check in, men da vi ankom til Aiden, var der meget lang kø til check in og vi skulle igennem køen, da vores online check in ikke virkede på deres Ipad. Da vi kom tilbage til Aiden om aftenen, var der ikke flere p-pladser. Tilgængeligheden fra p-pladsen var kun flisebelagt noget af vejen, resten var igennem en plæne. Morgenmad var booket til 9-10 og da vi ankom lidt i 9, var der kaos og ekstrem lang kø til at få morgenmad. Vi stod i kø i 25 min, før vi var igennem hele buffet-stationen. Det virker ikke til, at Aiden er gearet til deres kapacitet. Morgenmaden var fin og personalet gjorde, hvad det kunne for at følge med. Jeg tror ikke, at vi kommer igen...
