Worst stay of my life

Honestly never leave hotel reviews but this hotel deserves one! The room needed a key card to turn the lights on - super inconvenient. It was outdated (stained carpet) and our toilet didn’t flush, we had to get it plunged multiple times and at one point just started putting the toilet paper in the garbage so it wouldn’t plug after every use. They blamed it on the toilet paper use but it would literally plug after one single pee. There were parties going on downstairs both nights we stayed. It was super loud and we didn’t have a parking spot for one night, we had to park in front near a curb and hope that our car didn’t get hit. They “cleaned” the room after our first night stay, they took the towels and shampoo and didn’t leave any new towels or shampoo. We had to wait a half hour our checkout morning before we could shower because we needed to wait for the staff to get us towels and shampoo. This delayed our ride home. The buffet breakfast is not free, and it’s basically a regular hotel breakfast (gross eggs, cereal etc) for 15$ per person. Insane. Honestly the worst stay I have ever had and the staff wasn’t apologetic or try to offer us anything for the multiple issues we experienced. I don’t recommend staying here.

Terrible Stay – Avoid This Hotel at All Costs From the moment we arrived, our experience at this hotel was nothing short of a nightmare. Parking & Arrival There was absolutely no parking available for hotel guests because of a large wedding happening onsite. Instead of offering a solution, staff simply told us to park across the street — which meant crossing a four to six lane road with our luggage and children. No signage, no assistance, no concern for guest safety. Noise & Comfort Once inside, we hoped things would improve, but the night was worse. The wedding music blared well into the night at an unbearable volume. The pounding of the music, specifically heavy bass and Indian wedding tracks, shook the walls of our room. Sleeping was impossible. For a hotel stay, the bare minimum expectation is rest — this hotel failed entirely. Lost Item Incident The worst part came on checkout day. Our child accidentally left behind a very important stuffed animal — a Jellycat dinosaur worth about $80 but priceless to our family. When we realized, we immediately called the hotel. Staff assured us that nothing had been found in the room, that “pictures are taken,” and that “if anything was left, it would be in lost and found.” Their tone made it seem as though we had simply imagined leaving it behind. Because we were absolutely certain it had been left in the bed, we drove all the way back. At the front desk, the man who greeted us was rude and condescending. His exact attitude was:

Cheap and mostly cheerful.

The hotel could use some upgrading. It is quite an old building has lots of damage is clean Ish. It has some worts and requires investment. Had to take room apart thought I had lost a remote for a Bluetooth camera in INFO doing found some leftover food, waste, and crumbs in places that it shouldn’t be floorboards. Need vacuuming under couches needs cleaned.

Weekend in Toronto.

Stayed here because it sleeps 6. Very outdated and appears dirty. Like carpets, bedding. Microwave was dirty on arrival with pizza crusts surrounding it. Only one working elevator, so very slow due to how busy it was. Lots of events happening at the building during our stay. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Poor experience with reception

During check in the gentleman at reception was talking to someone else on his phone the whole time in a different language and barely acknowledged me. He continued his conversation and just pointed at me to direct me on what to do. When I got to my room, the TV wasn't working and I the receptionist forgot to give me a wifi code. I called down to tell about the TV not working and he said he'd send someone up. No one ever showed...and I had to go down to the front desk to get the wifi code. Little things, but really didn't make me want to book here again, and I've stayed at this hotel MANY times on business while down in the city
