It's obviously newly renovated, but not yet ready for prime time. The lobby, or rather check in cubby, is sketchy. Smell of paint is overwhelming, including in the room.

The hotel is under construction. All the rooms on the first two floors were visibly under construction as was in check in counter. There was no person at the hotel. I arrived around 10pm and it was dark and very scary. I have pictures and videos. Can you imagine being a single woman and it being dark and having to check into a hotel like this? There was 1 car in the parking lot. I can’t believe this hotel would be represented by Hotels.com. I have lost faith in hotels.com after this horrific experience. In fact, I had to rent two additional rooms for several dates in January and I went direct to the hotel websites to book because I no longer trust hotels.com. Again, I have videos and photos of this as it was completely unacceptable. Construction workers started working at 7am outside my room on a Saturday morning as well. Unbelievable!

I am giving 4 stars only for some renovation inconveniences. Notably in our room there was no mirror in the bathroom. I am guessing it will be hung soon. The woman at the front desk was a real pleasure. She got us in quickly and was very friendly. The only little wrinkle was internet connectivity. We were in the furthest room away from the source so connection in the bedroom was non existent but we were able to connect by moving to the kitchenette area and sitting near the door with it open. If you need a good connection get a room as close to the office as possible. We previously stayed here and were directly over the office and had great internet connection. Overall a great little hotel and a two minute walk to the beach. It’s charming.

One of us got a regular room. A friend got a full kitchen room; even received a pic of it ahead of time. We got there and were told that no rooms have kitchens anymore. Front desk is unmanned. It’s self check in, then on your own 24/7. I didn’t know that was legal. Pool was drain since work being done on it.

Worst experience ever. I accidentally booked the “non-refundable” option and within 5 minutes I tried to cancel to rebook as refundable. It took over 45 minutes to get ahold of someone at the hotel to plead my case but they told me no. They must really need the money because the place was a dump. The pool was shut down by the health inspector. The common areas felt trashy and cluttered. They have no staff on weekends at the front desk. I tried self-checking in anyway and although I was showing as booked, the keys couldn’t be issued through the kiosk. Nobody answers the unmanned phone line. Good thing a guy “with IT” was there to weirdly get me a key. The room had bugs flying around in it, which the pest control truck parked out front should’ve been a tip off of that. The sink was backed up the entire time and the toilet and shower made gurgling noises when not in use. At one point I woke up and there was toilet water all over and the sewer backed up through the shower. Late at night and visually impaired, I walked through human waste. There was nobody to call so I left. I should’ve booked at a more reputable hotel.

Made a last-minute reservation day of cute little spot under renovation right now. The pool was empty. They’re working on it. They just painted the building. Room is amazing. One of the best showers. I’ve ever taken definitely recommend this place.

Overall nice property but after hours no one available for guest needs , they left note on office door to text which no one responds. I was awakened middle of night someone banging on my door to see if we had any info how to get hold of management.that was very scary, had to call 911. Also don’t know why they charge for parking since parking is on open area under sun all day ,I guess because some hotels with parking garage charges In surrounding area.

I took pictures of the property and videos. There was caution tape all over the first floor, the pool was dirty and out of service, there were junkies in the entrance, and it felt extremely unsafe. The room was clean, but the bathroom tub had dirty mat. I would like some sort of credit back!
