I arrived late, the night person did not know how to check me in and then ultimately the owner or a manager of the property had to come and get me checked in after 30 minutes. When they put me on the first floor, pointing directly towards the gas station with lots of lights and trucks coming in and out I asked if it was possible for me to be put on the other side of the hotel because I didn’t want to be woken by the noise and lights. Then he proceeded to tell me that I should’ve picked that on Expedia and that there was no way to change it. I said, there is literally 5 cars in the parking lot. I asked to cancel the room, he explained that it was an impossible task and he got upset with me. Ultimately he some how was able to make the change when I asked to leave. Once in There was a very, very thin sheet on the bed and the room smelled as though it had not been opened in a while with no AC running. Disappointment.
