The space itself was beautiful, clean, and conveniently located close to many things, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, the most important part of the stay, the bed — significantly impacted our experience.
When we checked in, we immediately noticed that the bed was noticeably sunken in the middle and extremely uncomfortable. After a 7-hour drive, we were really looking forward to rest and relaxation, but that wasn’t possible. I messaged the owner right away to flag the issue.
After lifting the mattress, my wife and I discovered that the bed frame screws were actually missing, which made the bed feel like a safety issue, not just a comfort issue. I sent the owner photos showing this, and he replied that he would send a handyman. Unfortunately, no one ever came, and there was no follow-up for the remainder of our stay.
Because of this, I ended up sleeping on the couch. While the space itself was lovely, the unresolved bed issue made the stay very uncomfortable and prevented us from fully enjoying what otherwise could have been a great experience.
I would recommend the owner making sure these things are in good shape prior to charging money for stays. Bc that was extremely unacceptable.
