Sabemos que estar cerca del mar es un privilegio… ¡pero también una responsabilidad! Y últimamente, el sargazo nos está mandando indirectas muy claras: “Oigan, ¡cuídenme mejor!” El sargazo no es decoración natural ni un nuevo atractivo turístico. Cuando se acumula, parece más bien el resultado de un “ups, se nos pasó tantito”. Así que, si lo atendemos con más constancia, no solo cuidamos el planeta, ¡también damos una mejor experiencia a quienes nos visitan! Y hablando de experiencia… Nosotros amamos poder elegir y tener opciones. Es necesario dar libertad para contratar servicios externos no les quita brillo a los suyos; al contrario, les reta a ser mejores y a demostrar que aquí el “servicio con sonrisa” es real. Así que… Más cuidado con la playa. Más apertura a nuevas opciones. Más actitud servicial (la de “¿cómo te ayudo?” en lugar de “pues así es el sistema”). Porque cuando mezclamos cuidado ambiental + buena vibra + mejor servicio, ¡la playa se ve mejor, el hotel funciona mejor y todos disfrutamos más!

To start, if you can, try to book and pay here online in advance. If you pay at the resort, they’ll “convert” your dollars just to charge you in dollars again — which makes no sense. Because of that, our room ended up much more expensive. My two-night reservation was supposed to be $320, but I ended up paying around $623.80 at the front desk only for 2 people. To continue, we were a family of 6 adults and 2 little girls, and honestly, the resort left us with mixed feelings. The negatives: The facilities were very basic, nothing impressive. The staff at the beach bar often seemed in a bad mood. The power went out the very first night we arrived. The air conditioning didn’t cool properly. All four rooms we booked had a strong musty, moldy smell. The food was average at best, with little variety or quality. The Mexican restaurant was a big disappointment — the food was terrible. The sports bar near the reception needs urgent attention; the rotten smell there is alarming. The positives: The staff at the El Pilón buffet restaurant were very kind and attentive. The pools were pleasant and clean. The beach was well maintained. The DJ and nightly shows were fantastic — fun, lively, and well organized. Overall, it’s not a resort I would recommend 100%. The maintenance and service issues outweighed the good moments, though I do appreciate the friendliness of the restaurant staff and the great entertainment at night.

You need to bring every mosquito repellant going!

My room was changed 3 times. The 1st one was covered in insects! ants and mosquitoes. The 2nd room was cleaner, or so I thought! I had already spend 10 nights in DR but that night I got 12 mosquito bites all over my body! It was awful. Never once got bitten in the other hotels I had stayed at previously. The staff were empathetic and ugraded me to the beach view room - it was 'better' (not to be ungrateful but I was in pain and itchy as hell) the food was okay I guess. Standard salt and pepper dishes with tabasco or siracha for flavour. Although Meat and fruit and vegetables were fresh. You wont go hungry but, I couldn't wait to get home and cook myself. Dirty pool. DR Staff were nice 👍

No había variedad de comida y la que había no era nada agradable y fría. Las habitaciones las sábanas sucias, con olor fuerte a mocato, los baños sucios, las sábanas hasta picaban, la habitación con polvo y humedad. La piscina con lava la del parque acuático, el colchón no es cómodo. En fin, no se dejen engañar de los que dicen que es buena opción, es una experiencia súper desagradable, tenía 2 noche y 3 días con mi familia, y solo me quedé 1 noche al otro día nos fuimos, no aguantamos.

The resort is beautiful just like its name “Tropical deluxe” but the food quality has to be improved. Comparing to other resorts I had been stayed in Punta Cana, the food here is the worst. Other than that, my overall experience in this resort was great. And the best part was there is no upselling, or pressuring us to go for time sharing.

It was ok didn't really enjoy the beach because of all the seaweed .. when I'm on vacation I don't wanna be bother our first day until we left there was calling our phones early in the morning trying to sale & sign up for seminars that was very annoying .. food ok I guess if you don't eat pork good luck I think I lost 2lbs & if you can eat the food it's small portions .. then after 10 it's nothing for you to do , it was ok but I wouldn't return

The air conditioning in the room was extremely loud and was deafening. Hotel staff who clean the room had to know how loud. I stayed at this resort about 10 times in the last 4 years. Front desk dismissed my concern. Other issue resort does not allow my uber to pick me up at the entrance door. I must walk to the end of resort to get my uber. When brought up to front desk was told policy. But my uber was able to drop me at the front when I arrived. Why inconvenience your guest to walk to front on the heat with luggage when leaving?
