A gem of a hotel in Tokyo
We often stay at the Hotel Monterey La Soeur when in Tokyo. It is conveniently located (within walking distance of Tokyo station). The staff are all very nice and kind and do their best to help you.

Such a clean and beautiful place. Staff are very polite and helpful. Location is great and well connected through the subway. Great choice of restaurants too. Only downside is the size of the room, it is quite small. Otherwise it’s all great, would go back again.

Location was good. Walking distance to many transit stations, Tokyo Station for all JR access, several different subway line stations. One block from Ginza district, the most high end shopping and restaurant areas. It is very quiet. Room was smaller than I expected but adequately equipped with amenities. Comfortable bed and wonderful deep bathtub.

First of all the positives. The staff were friendly and the hotel clean. Good position for metro and convenience stores . Room was a decent size.
Negatives.....the room floors were wooden which was extremely painful to walk on after a long day. Our room only had one double plug socket and we could find. This meant as we had to use an adaptor we could only charge one device at a time. On a personal note I wasn't keen on the French music playing all the time.
