Rare gem boutique motel

Fabulous little boutique motel run by a wonderfully friendly family. I’d score it a perfect 10, but our mattress needs to be updated… great location close to the Ferry.

This was my best experience in a motel of this type. Staff were helpful, room was clean and in very good condition and the breakfast was good. The only thing lacking was in room coffee.

Highly recommend!

The New Age Inn was an awesome surprise. The rooms are beautifully renovated. The room had a couch, fridge, microwave. The bed was very comfortable and didn’t squeak. haha The continental breakfast was much more than we had expected. The owner was very friendly and helped us out with letting us store our food in their freezer. I highly recommend this establishment.

They are fixing it up

We stayed for a quick night before the ferry. Everything was clean and ready for us. However, it was an extremely hot day and A/C didn’t work. Probably not a big deal most days in Nova Scotia.

Overall, it was newly renovated & clean. The only issue we had was the beds were pretty firm and not very comfortable.
Our bed, single room, suppose to be a queen but felt like a double.

Very nice people.

Must be owner operated as the service was great. Hubbie had an issue connecting to the wifi and first the nice young girl came down and when she couldn't get it to connect I believe her Dad was the man that came and tried. You could tell he was very computer savvy but it was my laptop not the wifi. Very nice!! The room was great, big and comfortable. Great jetted tub for two.

Great find in Yarmouth, near the CAT Ferry

This was a great little motel to stay at after we got off the CAT ferry from Bar Harbor. It was about 8 minutes away from the ferry terminal by car. There was a great sushi restaurant close by (Honey Bees) which was open until 8pm or so, so we were able to get some takeout from there (2 minute drive). The included breakfast at the motel was very nice and the hosts were quiet but friendly. The room was very clean and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. It was a nice and easy first night in Nova Scotia. If you stay here, be sure to visit the Cape Forchu lighthouse before setting out for other parts of Nova Scotia. It was about 20 minutes away by car.

Very nice property to spend a night at . Room was well appointed and had features that the more expensive places didn't have . Roku tv was better than cable . Will definitely stay here again if we have another medical appt.
