The property is on the main road but they supplied ear plugs and they also have tea and coffee available and if you wish to have your own breakfast they have bowls and cutlery available.

Didn't like the self closing doors, banging all the time. It was an interruption to an otherwise peaceful stay.

Bit worried when I saw ear plugs on the bed when I arrived. Plenty of noise from below but that all finished about 10:30 so all good. Plenty of traffic noise in the morning though. Nothing they can do about that. Clean and comfortable and good value for the price. Bathrooms were modern and clean which was a pleasant surprise for an old hotel like this.

This was a beautiful old pub, and it was very clean. However I thought it was very expensive for what it was. It was a shared bathroom arrangement, the bed was poor quality, the TV kept pixellating and cutting in and out, the door onto the verandah was barely lockable, and there wasn't even a chair in the room. I think a fair price for the room I stayed in would be more about the $50-60 mark instead of the $102 I was charged. That aside, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel was in neat and tidy condition
