Nice hotel, not a great location

Hotel was nice, rooms were clean and big. We were given a room with a hot tub even though we didn’t book this so we were happy. The hotel is only a few minutes walk to the beach but far from Mykonos centre. Taxi was €60 and the closest bus stop was a 25 minute walk (up a steep hill) Wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you want to enjoy the centre of Mykonos unless you hire a car.

Beautiful hotel but definitely ask for a room near the pool! 4 flights of stairs up to my room was a push!
Joanna, 3-night trip

Accommodation is very old - bed linen, towels. Hot water didn’t work, rooms need to be modernised. Staff were kind and helpful.

10/10 Exceptional

I highly recommend Penelope Village. It is close to a beautiful beach within walking distance. The staff was attentive and helpful. The location of the hotel is on the opposite side of the island which I knew prior to making a reservation. I decided to rent a car they helped through every step of the way. I loved my experience in Mykonos but the staff was one of the highlights. Another note before I go, my daughter is a certified pool lover and she really liked the pool.

Arthur, 6-night trip

2/10 Poor

Fraudulent and unsanitary conditions

This was a filthy hotel claiming to be a 4 star. Not only they are a fraud and keep charging our credit card after two weeks, but the bathrooms have standing water along moldy walls, shower glass coming apart and is posing a hazard and a distasteful about to happen, in addition to inhabitant and health risking conditions. It has no elevator and we were placed up the hill (5 stories worth of steps) to climb with strong winds and unsafely measures in place. They were claiming they are fully booked, when rooms were still plenty available online. The breakfast was horrific underground and missing plates and cups, no veggies offered (it’s Greece!) and unsanitary conditions. Do not stay here, unless you want to get sick and your credit card info stolen and charged.
8-night trip

8/10 Very good

Very far from town central but nice stay if you want to be away from everything. Points lost for night staff he did not help us to our rooms or with luggage and it was a steep hill, very windy in the dark of the night. Overall though nice place.

6/10 Good

The accommodation was very nice from the outside. We were welcomed nicely, but when we were brought to our room, it already started. The room looked underground. When we took a shower, the room was flooded. It looked like a cave. The only good thing was the receptionist, Helena, very sweet and accommodating.
breschna, 2-night trip

4/10 Fair

We stayed three nights at this all-inclusive resort in Mykonos, and unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. The experience served as a reminder to always read reviews carefully and manage expectations—what you see online may not be what you actually get. The biggest issue was the gap between the promotional photos and reality. I’ve attached side-by-side pictures to show the contrast between what was advertised and what we encountered. The room and amenities were far less polished than shown online. See photos from the website vs what we’ve got. The food was a letdown as well. While there was variety, the quality felt lacking—most of it seemed frozen rather than fresh. We noticed the same cheese served each evening, progressively drying out over our stay, which says a lot about the kitchen’s standards. That said, the staff were consistently kind and accommodating, and their efforts didn’t go unnoticed. It’s unfortunate that their hospitality wasn’t matched by the overall experience. In short, this resort might work for some, but I’d recommend exercising caution and doing a bit more research before booking.
