The hotel's locale is easy walking distance to Centro Tlaquepaque. It is tastefully and extensively decorated with traditional and modern Mexican art, giving the premises and art gallery feel. A true gem!! It is a small hotel that offers B&B like personal attention, from the daily breakfast cooked on order and served in lovely inside dining room or an outside garden patio area, by a warm and friendly cook, to a personal tour of the premises by the owner who lives on the premises. During our departure, Pepe, the night attendant, very helpfully saw us out with our luggage at 6:00am, then, with an above and beyond the call of duty effort, chased down our departing ride and preventing our leaving behind some of our belongings which may have proven disastrous.

This is the place to stay in Tlaquepaque. Larry and Ester are excellent hosts and their home has large beautiful guest rooms. Each morning we had a delicious breakfast and it was easy to get to downtown Guadalajara or stay in town for dining and shopping from this location. We loved all the artwork displayed in the home. Our hosts even helped with dinner reservations and reserved a taxi for our return trip to the airport. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This home is absolutely amazing! Larry was a very gracious host. Breakfast was phenomenal, and the staff were friendly on every interaction we had. The bedroom was spacious, ( we stayed in the Violeta bedroom) with luxe bed linens. Really enjoyed the gorgeous art all around the home. It was an easy walk to the must see places in town, and all the great restaurants and shopping. It was the perfect weekend getaway. We will definitely be back on our next trip!

Artistic and Relaxing

Awesome boutique hotel. I can say it is the most well decorated hotel I have been. If Mexican art, folk art, creativity is your vibe, this is a place to stay. Additionally, the hospitality of the owners is superior. We will definitely come back!

We spent two nights at Casa Morales Hotel Boutique in Tlaquepaque Feb 14-16. We couldn’t have asked for more gracious hosts than Ester and Larry! We were warmly welcomed into their beautiful property adorned with some of the most precious Mexican works of art. The recommendations that Ester and Larry provided us for dining and sightseeing in the local area were extremely helpful. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was amazing. Ester kindly arranged for us to have an early breakfast prior to our early departure and arranged for a local cab driver to transport us to the airport in good time. We enthusiastically recommend Casa Morales and can’t wait to return.

Casa Morales is amazing! The hotel itself is beautiful, filled with wonderful furniture, sculptures and artwork. Our room was lovely, with comfortable beds and every amenity we needed. There’s a very relaxing courtyard, filled with beautiful plants and chirping birds. The owners and staff are all so kind and accommodating. We would highly recommend staying there.
